KSRTC launches first LNG bus service

Thiruvananthapuram: KSRTC from Kerala to Bengaluru Services will resume from Sunday. The first stage is from Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, and Kannur. Services from Thiruvananthapuram will starts from Sundays, services from Kannur will also start from Monday.

Circumstances in which Tamil Nadu has not been sanctioned for inter-state transport. Kerala state will provide services via Kozhikode and Kannur. Travelers are required to follow the covid protocol of the Government of Karnataka. The RTPCR test negative Certificate before 72 hours or the certificate of at least one dose vaccination should bear for the traveling.

Additional services will be provided as and when more passengers are required. Time information and tickets for these services are available at www.online.keralartc.com Ticket booking can be done by KSRTC mobile app or website, Transport Minister Anthony Raju said.

New Delhi: Covid test made mandatory before bringing animals like cats and dogs to India from other countries. The Central Government has issued instructions in this regard to the customs authorities across India.

The order also applies to those who bring pets like cats into India. If customs officials find that animals are being brought in without the required certificates, officials say the animal will be returned to the country where it was brought.

In addition to animals such as tigers, lions, leopards, and puma, gorillas are also at higher risk of contracting the covid infection, according to the World Health Organization.

New Delhi: Legendary Hindi film star Dilip Kumar has died at the age of 98. He died of pneumonia at the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. He was undergoing treatment for a long-term congenital disease.

The hero, who has amazed the silver screen for four decades, has acted in only 40 films in 60 years. He was accompanied by his wife Saira Banu. Dilip Kumar entered the world of cinema in 1944 with the film Jwarappettu. The Khan era in Bollywood began with the entry of Dilip Kumar alias Muhammad Yusuf Khan.

Many films like Devdas, Mughal E Assam, Madhumati, and Kranti are part of his Indian cinematic history. Dilip Kumar holds the Guinness World Record for most awards. He has been honored by the country with the Padma Vibhushan.

Union Cabinet reshuffle today

New Delhi: The first reshuffle of the second Narendra Modi cabinet will take place at 6 pm today. The ceremony will be held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Jyotiraditya Scindia, who left the Congress and joined the BJP, will join the cabinet with cabinet rank. According to national media reports, he received a phone call from Delhi.

Sarbananda Sonowal from Assam and Narayan Rane from Maharashtra will also be cabinet ministers. Pasupathi Paras from Lok Janshakti Party, Anupriya Patel from Apna Dal, and Sanjay Nishad from Nishad Party will join the cabinet. New Delhi: Former Union Minister Rangarajan Kumaramangalam’s wife has been killed. Rangarajan’s wife Kitty Kumaramangalam was killed. Kitty was found dead at her home in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi, around 9 pm on Tuesday. Southwest Deputy Commissioner of Police Inkit Pratap Singh said one person has been arrested in connection with the incident. Raju, 24, a laundress, was arrested.

It is suspected that the murder took place during the robbery attempt. The police initially concluded that two more people were involved in the murder. The Delhi Police is trying to nab them.

The DCP said police had launched a search for the other two accused. The late Rangarajan Kumaramangalam was the Salem MP. He was a member of Narasimha Rao, Vajpayee cabinets. 

UN Human Rights Council expresses deep sorrow on the Death of Fr. Stan Swamy

New Delhi: The UN human rights body has expressed its condolences over the death of human rights activist Fr. Stan Swamy. The United Nations has said it is “deeply saddened” by the death of Stan Swamy.

”The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet, has been repeatedly brought the arrest of Swamy and others,  to the attention of central government over the past three years. But Bachle also expressed concern about the UAPA’s imposition on them. Spokeswoman Liz Thorsell said.

EU special envoy to the European Union, Eamonn Gilmore, also expressed deep sorrow over Swamy’s death.
Meanwhile, Fr. Stan Swamy was arrested by the National Investigation Agency following all legal procedures, the foreign ministry said. Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Department today issued yellow alerts in three districts due to the possibility of isolated heavy rains. The alert is in Alappuzha, Ernakulam, and Idukki districts. Rain warning has been issued for Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Thrissur, Malappuram, and Kozhikode districts tomorrow.

The monsoon is expected to continue in various districts till Saturday. The State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) has warned fishermen not to go fishing off the coasts of Kerala, Karnataka, and Lakshadweep from tomorrow till 10 am due to strong winds.
