Increase in Covid cases in the country again

New Delhi: Covid spread in the country is on the rise again. The second wave of Covid is intensifying in Maharashtra and Karnataka. In the last 24 hours, 25,320 new cases were reported in the country.

This is an increase of 438 cases over the previous day. With this, the number of Covid victims in the country rose to 1,13,59,048. There have been 161 deaths in the last 24 hours. This is the highest death toll in 44 days. With this, the number of deaths due to Covid in the country rose to 1,58,607. So far 1,09,89,897 people have been cured.

Maharashtra and Punjab accounted for 67 percent of the country’s cases. In Maharashtra, 15,602 Covid cases were reported in a single day. Finance Commission member VK Paul said the situation in Maharashtra was “worrying”. Punjab recorded the highest number this year with 1,515 new cases.

Currently, there has been an increase in Covid cases in the last few weeks in some other states of the country like Delhi, Haryana, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. So far, 2,97,38,409 Covid vaccines have been given in the country.

No need for government permission: Private luxury buses can run anywhere in the country

Thiruvananthapuram: The Central government has issued a notification allowing private luxury buses to run freely without the permission of the state governments. Authorized tour operators can drive taxis, including buses, anywhere in the country with an All India Tourist Permit issued by the Union Ministry of Surface Transport. No separate permits are required in each state.

Permits can be obtained from all authorized tour operators by applying on the website of the Union Ministry of Surface Transport. A.C. with more than 23 seats. The annual permit fee for a bus is Rs 3 lakh and for non-AC Rs 2 lakh. The amount received by the Center through the issuance of permits will be allocated to the States under the GST model.

Five arrested in NIA raids in three states including Kerala

New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday inspected 10 places in Kerala, Karnataka, and Delhi. The raid was part of an investigation to find those linked to the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group.

Drone presence in Punjab again; Indian Army tightens security

Candidates’ criminal background should be advertised; Tikaram Meena

Terrorist killed in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: A militant was killed in an encounter with security forces in the Rawalpore area of Shopian in Jammu and Kashmir, police said. M4 rifles and ammunition were recovered from the scene. The operation was carried out by the police, army, and CRPF. The deceased has not been identified.

Two militants were hiding in a house in the area where the incident took place. The search began on Saturday evening after police received a tip-off about the presence of militants.

Meanwhile, the search had to be halted to evacuate the locals safely. Inspector-General of Police Vijay Kumar said the attack took place after they were released safely. On March 11, two Jaish-e-Muhammad militants were killed in a clash with security forces in the Anantnag district.

The mission of the mission is to ensure that the election is free from pollution and does not harm the people or the environment. Each time thousands of tons of waste are left behind after the election campaign and polling. The Suchitwa Mission and Haritha Kerala Mission aim to minimize the amount of these and to treat the waste generated scientifically.

Explosives found near Ambani’s house; Police Officer Sachin Vaze arrested

Mumbai: A police officer Sachin Vaze has been arrested in connection with the case of an explosive device found near Mukesh Ambani’s house. The Vaze was arrested after a 12 – hour interrogation.

He was arrested on charges in connection with conspiracy in the case. A team led by NIA Inspector General Anil Shukla was called to the NIA Mumbai office to record the arrest of Sachin Vaze.

Initially, he has investigated the case of a car laid with explosives near Ambani’s house. Then the case referred to the Anti – Terrorism Squad and the NIA.

The passengers will be dropped off the plane if not wear mask properly; DGCA

New Delhi: Passengers have been directed to wear proper masks while traveling. Ordered by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The new proposal comes amid a sharp rise in Covid’s second outbreak in the country.

Those who arrive without a proper mask will be dropped off. The mask is also not allowed to be worn under the nose. Airports will not allow passengers to arrive without wearing the mask.

Security officials can take legal action against passengers who behave irresponsibly. The order issued by the DGCA also states that those who do not wear the mask properly can be included in the list of misbehaving passengers.
