Thiruvananthapuram: The LDF cabinet headed by Pinarayi Vijayan is in power. The swearing-in ceremony began at 3.35 pm. Governor Arif Mohammad Khan administered the oath to the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Later ministers K Rajan, Roshi Augustine, K Krishnankutty and AK. Shashindran, Ahmed Devarkovil, Antony Raju V Abdurahman, GR Anil, KN Balagopal, R Bindu, J Chinchurani, MV Govindan, PA Mohammad Riaz, P Prasad, K Radhakrishnan, P Rajeev, Saji Cherian, V Sivankutty, VN Vasavan and Veena George were sworn in.

Chithra, Sujatha, MG Sreekumar, Shankar Mahadevan, Amjat Alikhan, Umayalpuram Sivaraman, Sivamani, Mohanlal, Jayaram, Karunamoorthy, Stephen Devasya, Unni Menon, Sreenivas, Unnikrishnan, Vijay Yesudas, Madhubala Krishnan, Swetha Mohan, Jayachandran, Sarath, Bijibal, Ramyanambisan, Manjari, Sudeep Kumar, Najim Arshad, Haricharan, Madhushree, Rajasree, Kallara Gopan, Aparna Rajeev, Vaikom Vijayalakshmi, Sithara, Harikrishnan, Ranjini Jose, PK Medini and Murugan Kattakada are the music directors of the film. Mammootty made the presentation.

The water level in dams rises; Orange alert on 4 dams in the state

Thiruvananthapuram: The water level in dams is rising due to continuous rains in the state. An orange alert has been issued for four dams in Thrissur, Idukki, and Pathanamthitta districts. A yellow alert has been declared on eight irrigation projects.
Summer rains and Cyclone Tauktea increased rainfall in the state. Kerala received 128 percent more rainfall from March 1. Kannur received the highest rainfall. It received 216 percent more rainfall. Ernakulam received 171 percent more rainfall and Pathanamthitta received 161 percent more rainfall.

An orange alert has been issued in Peringalkoothu, Kallarkutty, Lower Periyar, and Moozhiyar. A yellow alert was issued for Neyyar, Malankara, Kuttyadi, Karappuzha, Shiruvani, Kallada, and Kanjirapuzha dams. The water level in Idukki Dam is 2336 feet.

The maximum storage capacity is 2403 feet. The current water level in the Sholayar is 2612 feet with a storage capacity of 2663 feet. The depression area in the Bay of Bengal next week and the warning of heavy rains in Kerala will cause the water level in the dams to rise.

The list includes KSRTC drivers, conductors, petrol pump employees, newspaper distributors, dissidents, journalists, KSEB field staff, Water Authority field staff, railway TTEs, drivers, airport staff, ground staff, fishmongers, and vegetable sellers.

Covid Test can conduct within the home; ICMR approves antigen test kit

New Delhi: The ICMR approved the self-testing rapid antigen test kit. The kit will be available in the general market soon. The test kit was prescribed by the ICMR only for those with symptoms and in close contact with patients.

The test can be done manually as per the instructions given with the kit. The test should be performed using nasal secretions. A new mobile application will also be launched for this. The covid result will be available in 15 minutes. The kit, manufactured by My Lab Discovery Solutions in Pune, is currently approved.

The price of a kit is 250 rupees. The ICMR recommended that those diagnosed with the disease adhere to the Covid protocol. It is estimated that Covid disease can be controlled by increasing the test rate with the availability of the kit.

‘Black Fungus’ infection declared an Epidemic in Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana has declared black fungus an epidemic in the state. More than 100 cases have been reported in the state.
The black fungus was declared an Epidemic by the Telangana government under the Epidemic Disease Act 1897. The state is also experiencing a shortage of medicines for the disease.

In Kerala, 15 cases have been reported so far. The disease has been confirmed in Malappuram and Kollam. The left eye of the person who confirmed the fungus in Malappuram was removed. The eye was removed to prevent the fungus from spreading to the brain.

Sagar Bhushan, one of the oil rigs, was stranded and 196 people were rescued from one of the barges providing accommodation to 101 people. Another 137 people were rescued from another barge called the Gaul Constructor.

21 cars and offices for the new ministers are ready here. The Department of Tourism has decided to provide Innova Christa cars to everyone. The new model Innova Christa will be available for 19 people. And the old model for two. It will be replaced when the new Christa arrives.

The new ministerial offices will be located in the North Block, North Sandwich Block, South Block, South Sandwich Block, Annexure One and Two of the Secretariat. The offices of K. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will be in charge of the Home, Vigilance, IT, and Environment departments. Veena George is in charge of the health department. KN Balagopal will be the Finance Minister. P. Rajeev is in charge of the industries department. MV Govindan has been given by the Local Government Department. K. Radhakrishnan has been given by the Devaswom department.

Black fungus in two districts of the state; The patient’s eye was removed

Thiruvananthapuram: Black fungus has been confirmed in two districts in Kerala. Black fungus has been confirmed in Covid patients in Malappuram and Kollam. Abdul Khader, a native of Tirur, Ezhoor, was diagnosed with black fungus while undergoing home treatment after Covid treatment. He was rushed to a private hospital in Kottakal for treatment and later shifted to Kozhikode for specialist treatment. Khader was diagnosed with black fungus on the 7th of this month.
