So far 31216 black fungus cases and 2109 related deaths have been reported in the country. Maharashtra has the highest number of reported cases and deaths. So far, there have been 7057 cases and 609 deaths in Maharashtra. The lowest incidence of the disease is reported in Jharkhand; 96 cases. Bengal has the lowest number of confirmed deaths; 23.

Rosso: Dominica High Court has denied bail to Mehul Choksi, accused in a bank loan fraud case. The lawyer granted bail to Mehul Choksi, citing his physical disability. However, the court denied bail, citing the possibility of Choksi escaping from Dominica.
