New Delhi: The Supreme Court adjourned the petitions challenging the hijab ban in Karnataka. After a ten-day long hearing, the case was adjourned for judgment.

During the hearing, the Supreme Court asked whether the hijab is a part of faith but does not violate uniform norms in educational institutions.

Meanwhile, the petitioners argued that the Karnataka government’s decision was malicious. The Karnataka government has also raised the argument that the Popular Front is behind the hijab protests. Karnataka High Court upholds ban on hijab in educational institutions. During the hearing, the Supreme Court also remarked that it was not right for the Karnataka High Court to enter into matters related to religious beliefs in this case.

The lawyer said that the survivor is convinced that justice has not been served by the High Court. Adv. Sanjay P stated that he did not agree with the assessment of the High Court that the concern was raised by the media in Survivor.

It is not enough that justice is done, it is necessary to be convinced that justice has been done. The survivor’s lawyer said there are good reasons to be concerned about getting justice from the trial court. The lawyer responded that he will convince the Supreme Court of everything.

The High Court rejected the survivor’s request to change the trial court. The action of the High Court stated that there is no substance in the allegations against the trial court judge. The survivor’s lawyer requested that the details of the judgment dismissing the petition not be published, but the court refused. The court rejected the survivor’s motion, accepting the defendant’s argument that there was no such subordination. The order also drew severe criticism from the media. The High Court criticized the media for overstepping the bounds and giving news without understanding the court proceedings. Such media reports are the basis of survivors’ concerns. The court also said that the judiciary should be allowed to conduct trials without external interference.

Thiruvananthapuram:  Widespread violence in the hartal called by Popular Front in the state. Petrol bombs hit vehicles in Kannur. KSRTC buses were vandalized at various places.

A policeman was seriously injured in an attack by Popular Front workers at Pallimuk, Kollam. Police detained 12 people who blocked the road in Kochi Palluruthi. In Thiruvananthapuram Kumarichanta, the windows of vehicles were broken. Protesters unleashed violence on shops in Pothankodu Manjamala.

In Kannur, hartal supporters took away the keys of the goods lorry. Due to this, there was a huge traffic jam in the city. Then the police diverted the vehicles.

A KSRTC Swift bus was pelted with stones in Valapatnam, Kannur. The passengers were injured. The attack took place on a bus going from Kottayam to Kollur.

KSRTC driver injured in the eye during stone pelting during hartal called by Popular Front in the state. Hartal supporters pelted stones at the KSRTC bus in front of the Kozhikode Civil Station. The driver was admitted to Beach Hospital with an eye injury.

Proposal to enhance the security of NIA officials and offices; Amit Shah held a high-level meeting

New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency is conducting raids on Popular Front of India establishments in several states of the country. In this regard, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a high-level meeting on Thursday and inquired about the entire matter. Home Ministry sources said that Amit Shah met senior officials associated with the investigating agencies.

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla, and NIA DG also attended the meeting. Amit Shah has collected all the details of the raid. Apart from this, the Home Minister has also asked to ensure the security of NIA officials and offices. According to information, on August 29, Amit Shah held an important meeting with the top officials of the investigating agencies.

It directed various agencies to coordinate and take massive action against PFI. In this connection, late-night agencies led by NIA conducted simultaneous raids in 12 states on Thursday morning and arrested 106 people of PFI. The NIA termed it the biggest investigation operation ever.

NIA and ED teams raided the homes of PFI’s state-level district leaders in around 11 states of the country, including UP, Maharashtra, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, and arrested more than 100 members. The NIA has taken action in a case registered in Delhi related to terror funding.

NIA raids houses and offices of Popular Front leaders; 106 people in custody

New Delhi: 106 people have been detained in the countrywide raids conducted by central agencies in the houses and offices of the Popular Front leaders. 22 people from different districts of Kerala were taken into custody, including Popular Front National Chairman OMA Salam. Popular Front leaders including National Secretary Nasruddin Elamaram and State President CP Muhammad Basheer were arrested in NIA raids on houses and offices of Popular Front leaders across the state. Hard disks, mobile phones, and pamphlets were seized in the raid. Popular Front activists protested against the raid in various districts.

A hard disk was seized in a raid at the Popular Front State Committee office in Meenchanta, Kozhikode. Popular Front leader P Koya was taken into custody from here. In Malappuram, national chairman OMA Salam was taken into custody from his house in Manjeri and Popular Front state president CP Muhammad Basheer from Tirunavaya. The NIA raid took place at the district committee office of the Popular Front at Kannur police station at around 4 am. After the raid, the Popular Front workers blocked the national highway at Kannur Caltex. Central agencies raided two places in the Kasaragod district. The raid took place at the office of the Popular Front of India operating in Perumbala Panalam and at the house of district president CT Sulaiman in Thrikaripur.

In Thiruvananthapuram, raids were conducted at the Manakkad district committee office of the Popular Front and PFI leader Ashraf Moulavi’s house at Poonthura. A joint investigation by ED and NIA was conducted. The investigation team returned after seizing 4 mobile phones, 3 books, and 6 pamphlets. The NIA raids took place at various places in Thrissur district where Yahia took the state committee leaders into custody, Pathanamthitta Kadammanitta Popular Front district secretary Sadiq Ahmed, and Adoor and Palagode PFI district committee offices were raided by the NIA.

Youth Congress leader Jithin arrested in AKG center attack case

Thiruvananthapuram:  Youth Congress leader Jithin, who is accused in the attack case of AKG Center, which is the headquarters of CPI-M state committee, has been arrested.

Youth Congress Atipra Constituency President Jitin was arrested. He was being interrogated by the crime branch. The interrogation was at the crime branch office in Kavadiyar. Jithin is a native of Manvila, Thiruvananthapuram. Crime branch sources clarified that he was the one who threw the explosive device.

His arrest was recorded after detailed interrogation. Two months after the AKG center attack, the police caught the accused in the case.
On the night of June 30, an attacker on a scooter hurled explosives at the AKG center. The incident took place at a time when many leaders including CPIM central committee members were present at the AKG center. 

Suicide of NIT student; The police registered a case against the director of NIT

Chandigarh: The police have registered a case against the NIT director over the death of Agin S Dileep, a Malayali student who died at Punjab’s Lovely Professional University. Meanwhile, NIT has come up with an explanation for the suicide of the student. NIT said that Agin S. Dileep could not complete the course even after his final year of studies. As per NIT rules, the student was not eligible to continue in the course.

Agin S., a native of Cherthala Pallipuram was found dead yesterday. Agin S Dileep, a first-year student of Bachelor of Design, was found hanging dead in the hostel yesterday evening. The note mentioned the teacher of NIT, Kozhikode, where Agin studied earlier. The note accuses Prof. Prasad Krishna.

The note said that he regretted his decision and that he was a burden to everyone. Meanwhile, after Agin’s death, a huge protest was staged at the Lovely Professional University campus in Jalandhar. When two students committed suicide within ten days, the students came together in protest. The students demanded a detailed investigation of both incidents. The Kapurthala police have registered a case of unnatural death and started the investigation.

New Delhi:  The company has announced the facility to book train tickets on Google search itself. This feature will be available initially in select countries.

The facility will be available in other countries soon. In countries like Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan, you can now book train tickets directly from Google search. Trains are a good option for some journeys. But it takes a little more searching to figure out fares and travel times said Google Travel Product Vice President Richard Holden.

After selecting the trains from the Google search, they will be taken directly to another website to complete the booking. Richard Holden said that the feature will be rolled out to more places and a similar feature is being tested for bus tickets as well.
