Malappuram: Senior Congress leader and former minister Aryadan Muhammad passed away. He was 87 years old. He was under treatment due to diseases inherent to old age.

He represented his constituency Nilambur eight times and reached the Legislative Assembly. He was Minister of Power and Forest in various governments.

He became active in politics as a Congress member in 1952. He became a member of KPCC in 1958. Worked as President of Malappuram District Congress Committee and various Trade Unions.

Born on 15 May 1935 in Nilambur. He has held leadership positions in various trade unions. He entered politics in 1952 as a Congress member. Member of KPCC since 1958. Worked as President of Malappuram District Congress Committee and various Trade Unions.
He was elected to Kerala Legislative Assembly from the Nilambur Assembly constituency in 1977, 1980, 1987, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, and 2011. He was the Labor and Forest Minister in the EK Nayanar Cabinet during 1980-82.

He served as Labor and Tourism Minister in the AK Antony Cabinet in the 9th Legislative Assembly and as Power Minister in the Oommen Chandy Cabinet (2004-06). Aryadan Muhammad is a person who has often been in the media for opposing the Muslim League leaders and the League’s positions.

CBI probe against those who spread child pornographic images and videos

New Delhi: CBI’s nationwide probe against those who spread child pornography. The inspections conducted under the name of Operation Meghchakra raided 56 places in 19 states. The investigation is conducted on the basis of the information provided by Interpol.
Interpol has handed over information to the CBI, including the information of people who post child sexual exploitation content and spread it through various social media. In November 2021, the CBI conducted a similar investigation, Operation Carbon.
The inspection was conducted against 83 people in 76 places. Many people were arrested.

5G in the country from October 1; Prime Minister will inaugurate

New Delhi: 5G service will start in the country from October 1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate 5G services. Modi will inaugurate the country’s 5G services at the India Mobile Congress in Delhi.
According to the report, 5G services will be implemented in the country in a phased manner. 5G internet services will be available in 13 cities in the first phase.
Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Pune will be operational in the first phase. Various telecom companies have announced that the 5G service will be provided only in selected areas of these cities.
5G will provide speeds 100 times faster than 4G. So it is possible to watch videos without buffering and download content faster.

‘Popular Front Conspired to Assassinate Prime Minister’; ED with disclosure

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate said that the Popular Front had prepared a plan to attack Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bihar. The plan was to attack the Prime Minister during a rally in Patna on July 12. The ED also alleged that a special training camp was organized by the Popular Front for this purpose.

The plan to attack Modi has been explained in the remand report of Shefiq Payeth, a Popular Front activist of Kannur Peringathur, who was arrested in a case registered by the Enforcement Directorate. The remand report also states that terrorist groups were formed to carry out simultaneous attacks on some prominent and strategic places in Uttar Pradesh besides the Prime Minister.

The remand report contains serious allegations against Shafiq, a Malayali. He was working in a company in Qatar. Funds for terrorist activities were raised through these connections. According to the ED report, a total of Rs 120 crore was collected from abroad for terrorist activities and evidence of this was found.
