Bamaco: More than 100 people were killed in an attack in the African country of Mali. The attack was aimed at the Dogon tribe. The incident happened on Sunday night in the Sobane Kouve of Mopti region. More than 95 bodies have been recovered. 19 people have gone missing. Most of the bodies are scratched. The death toll is likely to rise again. At the same time, it is not clear who is behind the attack. Three weeks ago, the Dogon tribes killed 160 men of the Fulani tribe in Mali.
Lucknow: Four persons were found dead at New Delhi-Thiruvananthapuram Kerala Express. The bodies were found on the train when it arrived in Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh. All three died on the train and one died in hospital. The deceased all are from Tamil Nadu.
In the prima facie, the four people were killed in the train due to heavy heat in north India. This can be confirmed only after postmortem. The bodies are kept in Jhansi government hospital.

The remains of missing Aircraft AN 32 from Arunachal Pradesh was found. The remains were discovered at Lippo in Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. The flight left with 13 people, including three Malayalees went missing on 3rd of this month. The plane was flagged off from Jorhat in Assam and carrying passengers and crew members. The flight takes off at 12.25 am and it lost connection with the base at one 1 pm.
Kolkatta: Two persons were killed in a bomb explosion at Kankinara in West Bengal. Four injured were injured in the attack on Monday night. There have been reports of robbery yesterday in the area. The police are in high security after the blast.

Bengaluru: Veteran Kannada writer, playwright and actor Girish Karnad (81) passed away here on Wednesday. He was undergoing treatment for aging sickness. The incident happened on Monday morning.
Girish Karnad is one of the seven Kannada natives who won the Jnanpith award for India’s highest literary award. In addition, India honored Girish Karnad with Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awards. Girish Karnad, who was active as actor, screenwriter and film director, has received various awards. Tughlaq, Hayavadana, and Yayati are the main works by Girish Karnad.
Girish Karnad was born in Matheran, Maharashtra, on May 19, 1938. Even he acquired education in English and Marathi he used to write Literature in Kannada. He graduated in 1958. In 1963, he was elected President of the Oxford Union. He has been the director of the Karnataka State Drama Academy (1976-78) and Central Sangeetha Akademi (1988-93).
Then he worked with Benegal at the Hindi film industry. Nishant (1975), Kaliyug (1980), and later acted in many movies in films and television. He has acted in films like ‘Prince and Neelakurinji’.

Jharkhand: At least 11 people have been killed in an accident near Hazaribagh bus stand. 25 injured in the accident. The bus lost the break and rammed into the truck.
