Lawyers strike in Delhi; Lawyers locked main gates of Saket Court

New Delhi: Lawyers go on strike after Delhi Police. Lawyers from several courts in New Delhi protested on Wednesday morning.

The gate of Saket Court was locked by lawyers. A lawyer from the Rohini court tried to set himself ablaze by pouring kerosene on him. He was turned away by his colleagues. The clashes between police and lawyers in the Hazari and Saket courts on Saturday, November 2, has caused a rift between the two sides. Kozhikode: The bail plea of student arrested in suspecting a Maoist link will be considered on Wednesday. The bail plea of Alan Shoaib (20), Faisal Taha (24) to be considered by the district sessions court Judge Anita on Wednesday.

Aizawl: Advocate P S Sreedharan Pillai was sworn as for Governor of Mizoram. The Chief Justice of Guwahati High Court administered the oath of office and secrecy at the Raj Bhavan here. The oath was sworn in God’s name.

Sreedharan Pillai is the 15th Governor of Mizoram. He is the third Malayalee to be elected Mizoram Governor. The other Malayalees are Congress leader Vakkom Purushothaman and BJP leader Kummanam Rajasekharan.

On October 25th the President has issued an order appointing Sreedharan Pillai as Governor.

Thiruvananthapuram: The first service of Kerala’s own Electric Auto Neem-G has flagged off by the Speaker. Kerala Automobiles Limited (KAL), a positioning the public company has completed the construction of its electric auto at its Neyyattinkara plant.
