Thiruvananthapuram: The state government has banned the use of mobile phones in schools. The order specifically states that teachers should not use social media while at work.
The public education department had earlier issued a circular banning the use of mobile phones by students. But the new circular was issued again because it was not strictly adhered to, the director of public education said.
