Kozhikode: The health department headed the special medical camp in the wake of the H1N1 outbreak at Anayamkunnu Higher Secondary School in Karassery panchayat. A special camp was organized at eight locations on Tuesday, the Health Department said. Special camps will be held at Kumaranallur Cultural Center, Karamula Anganwadi, Maranjattil Cultural Center, CHC, Parathododu Cultural Center, Anayamkunnu School, Kaluparamba Cultural Center, and Karassery Hall.
There are currently 232 people under surveillance and no new cases have been reported. They were concerned that the disease had spread to others from a schoolteacher. The first symptoms appeared to the teacher. They had visited Mookambika last week. It is suspected that it was poured from there. Currently, H1N1 has been confirmed for six students and a teacher. The sap of the patients who were treated at the Kozhikode beach hospital was confirmed after they were sent to the Virology Institute in Manipal.
Last Friday, 42 students from the school had a fever. By five days, the fever had spread to over 100 children, teachers, and some children’s families. By the end of this year, all roads in Kerala will be better transportable, he said.

Though the law requires not to own more than 15 acres of land, the government will take steps to make it possible for a company that has more than 250 crores of investment and employs more than 1,000, to own more than 15 acres. Steps will also be taken to ease the rule that the building should be constructed in proportion to the width of the road. The building, which currently sits on an eight-meter wide road with more than 18,000 square feet, will not be allowed.
Women are allowed to work from 7 pm to 6 pm. The institutional owner must set out measures for safe accommodation. Steps will be taken to provide the necessary electricity and water to the industrial units. Permission for single factory complexes of more than 20,000 sq.ft. The government has also taken steps to deduct the tariff for future payments when the electricity connection is upgraded. The government is also planning a new scheme for subsidizing registered investors for 5 years based on labor, CM said.

A new feel-good short movie creating waves on YouTube. ‘Cineastes’ Paradise, a friend’s collective of movie maniacs based from Kozhikode, is the group behind the short film ‘Single – Ready to Mingle’. The movie was premiered in Openscreen Mini Theatre Kozhikode on 28th Dec, following which it was released on YouTube at 7 pm. The team is happy for receiving very good reviews since the release.

New Delhi: Indian citizens have been advised to avoid traveling to Iraq in the event of an escalation of the US-Iran conflict.

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday set up a nine-member bench to look into the woman’s entry of Sabarimala. Chief Justice S. A. Bobde presides over the bench.
In addition to the Chief Justice, Justice R.Bhanumati, Ashok Bhushan, Nageswar Rao, Mohan M. Shantan Gouder, S. Abul Nasir, R. Subhash Reddy, B.R. Gawai and Suryakant are the other members of the broad bench.
There is no one on the broad bench who issued the verdict of the woman entering in Sabarimala.
Tehran: The body of Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani, who was killed in a US airstrike in Baghdad, will not be buried today.
