NORKA has started a service for Malayalees abroad to share their concerns about COVID and to communicate with doctors via video and telephone. The Norka took immediate action following the Chief Minister’s recommendation.

Current issues and questions can be registered on the NORKA website. A doctor’s online service and telephone conversations have also been introduced. There is a facility for sharing information and seeking suggestions with leading doctors of various disciplines. The telephone service will be available between 2 pm and 6 pm Indian time.

India will export Hydroxychloroquine and Paracetamol to 25 countries

New Delhi: The Central government has approved the export of hydroxychloroquine and paracetamol to over 25 countries in the wake of the coronavirus epidemic. Earlier, the central government had banned the export of coronavirus fearing a shortage in the country following reports of coronavirus being effective.

Government officials had earlier said that the decision to export would be made according to the requirements of each country after ensuring that there were domestic requirements.

JEE Main Online Application: Opportunity for Change in Exam Center

New Delhi: Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has instructed the National Testing Agency (NTA) to make amendments to the selection of preferred exam centers in the online application for the JEE Mains 2020 exam.

The move comes after considering the difficulties faced by the students and the current circumstances due to COVID-19. The National Testing Agency issued a notice regarding the changes in the application on April 1.

And today the Agency decided to make the changes in the application so that the students can change their exam centers as they wish.

The agency will make an effort to allocate the exam center within the city of the candidates selected, but the final decision will depend on the city’s ability to accommodate the candidates. But for administrative reasons, the application may also be available in a different city. NTA’s decision on providing testing centers will be final.

Application modifications are currently available, including selecting cities with exam centers, which will be available on April 14, 2020, at https: //jeemain.nta.nic. Candidates should visit the website and compare their information or make any changes necessary.

* Corrections in the online application will be accepted until 5 pm and the fee will be accepted until 11.50 pm.

* For those who need it, additional fees can be paid through credit \ debit cards, net banking \ UPI facility or PAYTM.

Central Hospital of South East Central Railway has invited applications for the posts of Nurse, Pharmacist, Dresser, Lab Technician, X-ray Technician, and Dialysis Technician. There are 103 vacancies and a three-month contract appointment.

No safety equipment: Nurses’ strike in Delhi

New Delhi: The nurses in Delhi hospital go on a strike alleging the government’s negligence in providing the PPE materials to them. Most of the nurses from the main COVID-19 hospital such as LNJP which has a higher number of corona virus affected people in Delhi, reports added. Meanwhile, a nurse and a doctor in the hospital shifted to quarantine due to COVID-19 positive.

The protesters alleged that the government itself selected the LNJP for COVID-19 testing. Even though the government did not provide the personal protective equipment (PPE), they added.

The government ruled that the nurse works throughout 15 days should go on quarantine for 15 days. But unfortunately, there is allowed only rooms for 60 nurses and also only two washrooms for these 60 people they said. They permitted five-star hospital for the doctors after they protested in the less facility, nurses said.

Fifteen districts in UP will be fully closed

Delhi High Court denies Christian Michel’s bail in AgustaWestland helicopter scam

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court today denied bail to arms dealer Christine Michel in the Augusta Westland helicopter scam. Michel is facing trial in the Augusta Westland VIP helicopter deal. The verdict was delivered by Justice Mukesh Gupta. Michel was denied bail by a court Tuesday.

Michel sought bail in Tihar Jail after he was found to be infected with the coronavirus. But the court observed that Michel had been housed in a separate cell.
