New Delhi: Govt announces that 4G internet service in Jammu & Kashmir cannot be restored. The center Govt has stated this in the Supreme Court. The Center explained that terrorists are misusing internet service. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the case was adjourned for judgment.

The petitioners argued that the government could block abusive websites. The petitioners said the ban on the internet was a violation of their rights. Justices NV Ramana, Surya Kant, and BR Gawai filed the plea. The argument was heard through video conferencing.

The petitioners raised the issue of online education being disrupted.Attorney General KK Venugopal said the cancellation of the 4G service was a policy decision of the Center. Internet speeds have not disrupted the health and education sectors. The Solicitor General said no coroner’s death was due to Internet speed declined. He said there are many places in the country that do not have 4G services.

Kochi: The former sexton of Malayattoor Cross Church, Malayattoor Vattapparamban Johnny gets life imprisonment in the murder case of Rector Fr. Xavier Thelakat. Ernakulam Principal Sessions Court sentenced the accused.

On March 1, 2018, at the Malayattoor Kurisumudi junction, Johnny stabbed Fr. Xavier. Johnny had been kept out of the job following excessive drinking. According to the police charge sheet, Johnny grabbed a knife from the pilgrimage center on the day of the incident and stabbed Fr. Xavier to death.

Chandigarh: The Punjab government has extended parole for inmates who have been released from jail in the wake of Covid. The parole ministry has decided to extend the parole period to 16 weeks.

In this regard, the State Government will introduce necessary amendments to Punjab Good Contact Prisons Act, 1962. Prisoners who have been sentenced to seven years or less in case of virus infection are eligible for parole.

Indian Army honors fighters on Covid Battlefield. In honor of health workers, the Air Force flew planes over hospitals that provide treatment for Covid patients. Indian Army showers flowers over medical workers in various places in the country.

At 10 am, the three army chiefs started the event by presenting a wreath at the Delhi Police Memorial. In Delhi, Sukhoi 30 aircraft and MiG-29s flew flyposts at Rajpath and flourished from India Gate to Red Fort. The flypast is at Dal Lake in Srinagar and Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh.

The flypast took place on Marine Drive in Mumbai. The flowering of the Air Force took place at 10.30 am in Itanagar, Guwahati, Shillong, and Kolkata.

Five ships of the Mumbai Gateway of India illuminated from 7.30 pm to 11.59 pm. The ships also display a poster titled ‘India bowing down Corona fighters’. In addition to lighting the ships, the Goa Naval Base will also build a human chain to honor the Corona fighters.

New Delhi: Lokpal member Justice A. K. Tripathi died of coronavirus. He was sixty-two years old. He died at the AIIMS Trauma Center in New Delhi on Saturday night.

Tripathi was admitted to the AIIMS in Delhi on April 2 following an illness. Justice Tripathi’s daughter and housemaid were also affected by the corona, but they recovered.

However, Tripathi has been in the ICU and ventilator for the past three days due to deteriorating health, reports PTI.

He was a former Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court and was mainly associated with the Patna High Court. Tripathi was one of the four judicial members of the anti-corruption Ombudsman Lokpal.

Emergency services should arrive at the embassy by May 5. However, the Embassy said it had obtained prior permission to apply. Passport services will not be available to those who do not have prior permission. For this, an appointment is made by calling 920006139. An appointment will be available from May 4.

It is open from 10 am to 4 pm on all days except Fridays and Saturdays.

Preference will be given to passport holders who have already expired and who are due to expire before June 30.
