New Delhi: At least 25 people have died in various hospitals in Delhi and Amritsar due to lack of oxygen. Moolchand, Saroj, and Jaipur Golden Hospital are the worst hit. At least 20 people have died at the Gordon Hospital in Jaipur. The condition of the 200 people being treated there is critical.
Five people have died due to lack of oxygen at Neil Hospital in Amritsar. There has been an oxygen shortage for 48 hours. Even in this situation, the central government is unable to deliver oxygen.

Mumbai: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered an FIR against former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh in a financial case. The move comes after the CBI, which is probing allegations leveled by former Mumbai police commissioner Paramvir Singh, found Deshmukh guilty at first sight.
In a letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Paramvir Singh alleged that Deshmukh had demanded Rs 100 crore a month from Sachin Vaze, an ASI in the Crime Intelligence Unit and that he was corruptAnil Deshmukh resigned after the Bombay High Court ordered the CBI to probe the case. Deshmukh was also directed to register a case against him on April 5 if he was found guilty of any offense within 15 days. Deshmukh has filed a special leave petition in the Supreme Court against the High Court verdict.
