The pooja of the movie ‘Nayika’ took place at Muthoot Hotel,Trivandrum.

Nayika is the latest movie directed by Jayaraj.Nayika,starring thespians Sarada and Madhu in the lead roles, is about a veteran actor looking back at her eventful career in the evening of her life.The film also stars Jayaram,Urvashi,Jagathy Sreekumar and Jayaraj’S wife Sabitha Jayaraj.The movie is produced by Thomas Benjamin.Deedi Damodaran is the script writer.The music is done by duo Sreekumaran Thampi and A K Arjunan.The shooting of the movie is expected to start by March 2011.

The pooja of the movie ‘Lucky Jokers’ took place recently.The pooja was attended by members of film fraternity including Dileep,Indrans and Janardhanan.

Lucky Jokers is a comedy thriller directed by Sunil with Tamil actor Prasanna in the lead.The movie is produced by Aascar films which is known for producing some of Tamil cinema’s highest-budget and commercial successful films including Vaaranam Aayiram and Dasavathaaram. The film has leading Malayalam actors Madhu, Jagathi, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Harishree Ashokan, Jagadheesh, Janardhanan, Anoop Menon, Kottayam Nazeer and Sasikumar in supporting roles.Tamil comedian Vadivelu will handle an important role.Script is by Saju Kodiyan. Kaithapram pens the lyrics and M. Jayachandran scores music. Lucky Jokers will be shot from January in Nepal,Malaysia and Thiruvananthapuram.

Aishwarya to make debut with ‘Veendum Kannur’

Singer Aishwarya Muraleedharan is all set to make her acting debut. She is said to enter films with the movie Veendum Kannur, which is a sequel to Haridas Kesavan directed 1997 Malayalam movie Kannur.Tamil actor Bala is said to be playing the hero, while Aishwarya appears in the female lead.Veendum Kannur is produced by Nasser Thirur under the banner of Caipon Entertainment.
