This year’s Kerala Onam Bumper will be Rs 25 Crore and the ticket sale starts on July 26th.
The Kerala government has announced and released this year’s Onam Bumper 2023 Lottery ticket. The first prize amount won’t be changed this year and will remain at Rs 25 crore. Also, 20 winners will receive the second prize of Rs 1 Crore each and the third prize will be Rs 50 lakhs each for 20 winners. The fourth price is 20 lakhs each for ten winners and the fifth price is 2 lakhs each for ten winners.
On Monday, Finance Minister K. Venugopal and Transport Minister Antony Raju revealed this year’s Thiruvonam Bumper Lottery. The ticket cost will be the same as last year which is priced at Rs 500 and the ticket sale will start from July 26th. Last year’s Thiruvonam Bumper of 25 Crore was won by the auto-rickshaw driver B Anoop from Trivandrum district.
Last year 66.5 lakhs of Onam bumper lottery tickets were sold in Kerala and for this year Kerala government is expecting to sell up to 90 lakhs of lotteries. And according to the sources one crore lottery tickets used to get sold every day which gives a turnover of forty crores so the government is planning to sell more lotteries this year. Initially, the lottery department was having a plan to raise the first prize amount to Rs 30 Crores but it was rejected by the state financing department.
