UAE extends ban on travelers from India till July 6


Kochi: The UAE has extended the ban on travelers from India till July 6. Air India Express has announced that the ban has been extended except for UAE nationals.

The notice says that those who have taken tickets for travel during the period should renew their travel time.

Earlier, the UAE had announced a travel ban until June 30. UAE citizens, Golden Visas, and members of embassies are exempt from the ban.

The UAE banned Indian services on April 24 following the rise of Covid in India. Passenger service from UAE to India will not be barred. Services and cargo services to India via the UAE are not banned.
