Srinagar: Army and three militants were killed in an encounter in Pulwama in Jammu & Kashmir. The encounter took place at Daliopora area of Pulwama district at around 3 am today. Two militants were captured alive.
Strong firing continues in the sector. Internet services in the area have been temporarily suspended.

Kasargod: Two CPM leaders, including Uduma Area Secretary, were arrested for allegedly killing two Youth Congress activists at Periya in Kasaragod. CPM Udma Area Secretary Manikandan and Kalyott Branch Secretary Balakrishnan was arrested.
