Curfew extended in Sri Lanka

Colombo: Following the uprising that broke out in the aftermath of Easter bombings in Sri Lanka, the curfew was extended in Sri Lanka. One person was stabbed to death. Several shops institutions and mosques were destroyed. About 60 people have been arrested after the violence.

The police shot to the air to break rioters in Colombo. The UN has urged Sri Lanka to prevent tensions. Muslim traders say that they are living in a very insecure state. A businessman said around 200 protesters burnt their factory on Monday night. The Quran was burnt. The Muslim shops and mosques had been attacked last night.
