Periya twin Murder; Two CPM leaders arrested

Kasargod: Two CPM leaders, including Uduma Area Secretary, were arrested for allegedly killing two Youth Congress activists at Periya in Kasaragod. CPM Udma Area Secretary Manikandan and Kalyott Branch Secretary Balakrishnan was arrested.

The arrest was carried out by the probe team a little earlier. However, no investigating officer has been given any confirmation. The lawyers were informed that they had produced two accused in Hosdurg court. The accused have been charged with helping prime accused to go into hiding and destroy evidence.
