Experts say Covid 19 affected 43 people in the country
New Delhi: Following the confirmation of Covid 19 in six cases in Kerala, two cases have been confirmed in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Jammu. With this, the number of Covid 19 cases in the country has risen to 43, according to a report released by the Ministry of Health here today.
The 63-year-old woman from Iran has been confirmed with the virus in Jammu. The final results of 150 samples collected from different parts of the country will be released today from the Pune Virology Institute. Experts say that this could lead to an increase in the number of people infected with the virus.
At present, 40 people have been diagnosed with the disease in the country. The latest outbreak of the virus has been reported in Pathanamthitta and Ernakulam districts. The health department said that their condition is satisfactory.
Former Kerala Governor passed away
New Delhi: Former Union Minister and former Kerala Minister Hans Raj Bharadwaj passed away. He died at a private hospital due to a heart attack today. The funeral will take place at Nigam Bodghat on Monday evening, reports said.
He was Kerala Governor from 2012-2013. He was minister at the Manmohan government.
Bird flue alert; killed 1700 pets, including poultry
Kozhikode: Around 1700 pets, including poultry, was killed on Sunday in West Kodiyathur in Kozhikode. Meanwhile, the collector has ordered the closure of poultry shops in both areas. Mask and sanitizer will be provided in the examination centers. Masks and sanitizers should be made available by the government educational institutions. The Collector also said that masks and sanitizers should be made available in private educational institutions.

DMK General Secretary Anpazhakan Passed Away
Chennai: DMK General Secretary Anpazhakan passed away. He died at Appollo hospital, Chennai. He was admitted to the hospital due to breathing problems. He was not active in politics due to health issues.
Anpazhakan was a close friend of former Minister M Karunanidhi. He leads the party for 43 years as a general secretary. At least nine times he selected as party leader of DMK. He won in one election and MLA in nine times.
Anpazhakan was the founder leader of DMK. He service as Minister, finance minister, the opposition leader.
Covid-19; Schools in Jammu and Samba districts have been closed
Jammu: Primary schools in two districts of Jammu and Kashmir have been closed following the Covid-19 report. Principal secretary Rohit Kansal said schools in Jammu and Samba districts were closed till March 31.
Two people who had returned from a visit to Italy and South Korea reported the coronavirus in Jammu and Kashmir. They are being treated at a hospital in Jammu. Their condition is satisfactory, authorities said. Coronavirus reports 31 cases in India. Of these, 16 are Italian nationals.
Pulwama Attack: Chemicals were purchased to make bombs via Amazon
Srinagar: The e-commerce company Amazon has bought chemicals to make explosives for the Pulwama terror attack. NIA officials said one of the two men arrested in the case had admitted to buying chemicals through Amazon. Officials said they admitted this during their initial interrogation.
The NIA yesterday arrested 19-year-old Waizul Islam from Srinagar and 32-year-old Abbas Rather from Pulwama. With this, the number of arrests this week has reached five.
‘The Pulwama terrorist attack used an improvised exposure device. The chemicals, batteries, and other materials used to manufacture it are from Amazon, the e-commerce company.
According to the NIA, Jaish-e-Mohammed was providing the terrorists with the chemicals Vayuzul Islam Online and Mohammed Abbas Rather was hiding in his home. The two men will be produced before the NIA Special Court today.
Pulwama was attacked using ammonium nitrate, nitroglycerin, and RDX. Investigators have identified the DNA batch of Adil Ahmad Dar Jaishe-e Mohemmed terrorist who was involved in the blast.
