Washington: More vaccines are reportedly being prepared to combat the Covid virus. Consolation studies are now being published in connection with the Covid vaccine, the novavax. The study found that Novavax is 90 percent effective against Covid.

The company will soon seek permission for emergency use in the US and Europe. The company aims to produce 100 million vaccine doses by the end of September, according to reports. New Delhi: Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine will be expanded in India, the vaccine maker has said. In India, the vaccine will soon be available in nine cities, namely Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Baddi, Kolhapur, and Miryalaguda, the company said on Twitter. Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories distributes Sputnik vaccine in the country. Earlier, 30 lakh doses of the Sputnik V vaccine were delivered to Hyderabad.
The vaccine was then delivered to the public through the hospital and Dr. Reddy’s laboratory. The distribution of the vaccine started on May 17 in Hyderabad and on May 18 in Visakhapatnam. It is learned that the central government has fixed the price of a single dose of wax at Rs 1,145. The Bahraini Ministry of Health has confirmed that the Sputnik vaccine is 94.3 percent effective against Covid.

Lucknow: A court has ruled that there is no evidence that Malayalee journalist Siddique Kappan tried to disrupt peace in Hathras. The Madurai court also quashed the charges against Ateek Rahman, Alam, and Masood, who were arrested along with Kappan.
However, the sedition charges against Kappan have not been dismissed by the UAPA. But the Madurai court has now acquitted the department which had taken Kappan into custody. The court will consider Kappan’s bail application on the 22nd.

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has dropped criminal proceedings against Italian sailors in a piracy case. The Supreme Court has ordered the termination of the trial in India. The order of the bench comprising Justices Indira Banerjee and MR Shah states that the Kerala High Court is responsible for handing over the compensation to the victims.
As per this, the compensation of Rs 10 crore deposited in the Supreme Court will be transferred to the Kerala High Court Registry. The court observed that the trial would continue in Italy and hoped that the central and state governments would co-operate with the proceedings. Other criminal proceedings in the Delhi High Court have come to an end as the case proceedings in the Supreme Court have been terminated. Italy has pledged Rs 10 crore for the families of the two dead fishermen, Rs 4 crore each, and Rs 2 crore for the boat owner.
The case is coming to an end after a nine-year legal battle at the national and international levels. When the BJP-Congress governments conspired to sabotage the piracy case, it was the LDF government that intervened to bring justice to the fishermen.

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has ruled that there is a difference between ‘constitutionally guaranteed right to protest’ and terrorist activity. The court had granted bail to three student leaders who were arrested a year ago in connection with the riots in Delhi following protests against the controversial Citizenship Act.
Natasha Narwal, Devangana Kalitha, and Asif Iqbal Tanha, a student of Jamia Millia Islamia, were arrested by the UAPA in May 2020 on charges of conspiracy. Earlier, the trial court had denied them bail. This morning, a high court bench comprising Justices Siddharth Mridul and Anup Jayaram Bhambhani granted bail to three persons on personal bond and Rs 50,000 each. The court also asked that the passport be handed over to the court and that he refrain from any illegal activities and not obstruct the investigation.
