New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that special training will be given to Covid Front fighters. The Prime Minister has announced that one lakh frontline fighters in the country will be given special training in six different courses.
Frontline fighters will be trained in Basic Care Helper, Home Care Helper, Advice Care Helper, Medical Instrument Helper, Emergency Care Helper, and Sample Collection Helper.
There will be 111 training centers in 26 states. The Prime Minister has announced that the training will be imparted as part of the Skill India program.
Geneva: A new type of corona is spreading around the world, according to the World Health Organization. Covid’s ‘Lambda’ variant has been reported in 29 countries. According to WHO, the Lambda variant was first discovered in South America.
The Lambda variant was first discovered in Peru. The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned of the high prevalence of the disease, which has been reported in Peru since April 2021, with 81 percent of cases reported in Peru.
The World Health Organization has revealed that the Lambda variant has mutations that increase the risk of transmission of the disease to humans and strengthen the virus’s resistance to antibodies. The organization added that more research is needed on the Lambda variant.

Windows 10 was released on July 15, 2015. Microsoft had earlier withdrawn Windows 10X, which was introduced for dual-screen devices.
Satya Nadella, the appointed chairman of Microsoft, said yesterday that the latest version of Windows will be available to consumers soon with the latest updates. Nadella has been using the new Windows for the past few months as part of the experiment.

Mehul Choksi remanded in police custody. Dominica magistrate court orders transfer of Choksi from police custody to jail. His lawyer Vijay Agarwal said Choksi would remain in the hospital for the time being due to ill health.

Thrissur: The crime branch has registered three cases in connection with the Thrissur tree robbery. The case was registered on the charge of theft. Revenue Minister K Rajan said he was not aware of the enforcement probe into the robbery of the tree.
A high-level team searching for timber in the state had reached Thrissur yesterday and inspected the documents. Subsequently, three cases were registered. The case is against timber traders who bought timber from landlords and sold it to mill owners. The forest department took up 38 cases in the incident. Minister K Rajan said he was ready to face any inquiry.
Thiruvananthapuram: State Health Minister Veena George said the test guidelines have been revised based on TPR in Local Self Areas. The Covid tests will be increased based on the covid cases in the local self area.
The tests are performed on an average of one week. If one-week TPR is above 30 percent, the number of cases in the last three days is ten times higher. In other words, if there are 100 cases in 3 consecutive days, 3000 triples of 300 tests will be performed daily. The minister also said that the test will change as it decreases.
If one-week TPR is in between 20 and 30 percent of the cases will be examined six times in the last three days. If one-week TPR is in between 20 and 20 percent of cases will be tripled in the last three days. Antigen, RTPCR, and other tests are performed on all three groups.
The District Surveillance Unit will analyze the situation in the Municipality, Corporation, and Panchayat / Ward and determine the target for inspection.
Institutions, industrial establishments, factories, institutions, and specific areas that require further monitoring may be instructed to monitor nearby health facilities. Mobile testing labs can also be used if required.

Double-digit number buses will be available on Mondays (21–06-21) and Wednesdays and Fridays. The number one buses will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays next week and Mondays (28–06-21). Bus service is not permitted on Saturdays and Sundays.
New Delhi: ICSE has come up with a different formula for the Plus Two assessment in case of cancellation of the exam. The decision was made to consider the six-year marks. 10th class project and practice will also be taken into consideration.

New Delhi: Covid third wave could hit Maharashtra in the next two to four weeks, reports. The warning was issued by the state Covid mission. The third wave is less likely to affect children. But low-income earners are more likely to be affected, the warning said.
A review meeting was convened on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to prepare for the third wave of Covid. It was at this meeting that the mission team shared their observations. In addition to the members of the mission, the state health minister and senior officials also attended the meeting.
The mission estimates that the number of Covid patients in the third wave will double compared to the second wave. In the first wave, 19 lakh cases were reported. In the second wave, 40 lakh cases were reported. There are currently 1.4 lakh active cases. It may reach eight lakhs. The task force estimates that 10% of cases in the third wave, similar to the first two waves, may be reported from children or young people.
