UGC proposes to hold Surya Namaskar in colleges on Republic Day

New Delhi: The UGC has directed universities and colleges to participate in the nationwide sun salutation (Surya Namaskar) program organized by the National Yogasana Sports Federation on Republic Day. The Federation is organizing a musical sun salutation in front of the Indian flag.

It is suggested that students meet in colleges at this time. UGC also demanded that the event be publicized. Preparations are in full swing to mark the 75th anniversary of independence.

Blast at INS Ranveer occurred due to Freon gas leak

Mumbai: Preliminary investigation report on the explosion of the naval warship INS Ranveer has been released. The explosion was not with weapons or ammunition. The explosion took place in the empty AC compartment of the ship.

Thrissur 15, Thiruvananthapuram 14, Kollam 10, Ernakulam 8, Malappuram 4, Idukki 3, Palakkad 2, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam and Kozhikode one each. 4 are natives of Tamil Nadu from different countries. 36 came from low-risk countries and 9 from high-risk countries. 9 were from other states. Omicron was infected through contact with 9 people. Omicron confirmed the contact of 7 persons in Thiruvananthapuram and 2 persons in Thrissur.

Six arrested with banned currency

Dehradun: Six arrested in Uttarakhand with banned currency. The Special Task Force (STF) raided Haridwar ahead of the Uttarakhand Assembly elections and nabbed them with old notes worth Rs. 4,50, 00, 000.
