Kannur: Court rules in the case against e-bulljet vloggers. The court ordered that all illegal fittings in the vehicle be removed.

Illegal fittings should be removed in the presence of MVD officials. The court also ordered that the vehicle be returned to the station in a lawful manner. The vehicle is currently being stored under the Department of Motor Vehicles. E-BullJet Vloggers have stated that they will appeal to the court.

Their van was seized by the Kannur Motor Vehicle Enforcement Division following violations of the law, including modifying the vehicle and not paying taxes.

The Department of Motor Vehicles had earlier indicated that further action would be taken against e-bulljet vloggers and their caravan Napoleon.

72-hour train disruption from Saturday; More than 50 trains were canceled

Mumbai: Trains between Thane and Diva stations will be partially disrupted for 72 hours from midnight on Saturday due to the closure of five and six lines for maintenance. From Saturday to Monday, 52 long-distance trains have been canceled.

The LTT-Kochuveli Express and the LTT-Ernakulam Duronto Express will also be canceled. The Netravati Express will run only up to Panvel. Departure from here. CST, Dadar, LTT. Long-distance trains to and from Pune, Karmali, Madgaon, Hubli, Nagpur, and Nanded will also be canceled.

Diva Ratnagiri and Diva Sawantwadi passenger trains have also been canceled. Many trains plying on the Konkan route end at Panvel. These trains will leave from here. Hyderabad-CST Express (17032) will terminate at Pune on February 4 and 5. This train will depart from Pune the next day.

‘It is a crime to use military uniforms’; Court notice to the Prime Minister

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been issued a court notice for wearing a military uniform. The Prayagraj District Court in Uttar Pradesh has issued a notice to the Prime Minister’s Office.

The action was taken on a petition filed against Modi for wearing a military uniform during his visit to Kashmir last year. The petition states that the use of military uniforms other than soldiers is punishable under Indian Penal Code 140.

District Judge Nalin Kumar Srivastava sent the notice to the Prime Minister’s Office on a petition filed by advocate Rakesh Nath Pandey.

Pandey had filed a petition in the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s Court last December against Modi’s military appearance. However, the court refused to consider the petition, saying it did not fall within their jurisdiction. Following this, Pandey approached the district court.

Dileep’s anticipatory bail plea postponed till tomorrow

Kochi: The anticipatory bail petition of Dileep in the case of conspiracy to assassinate the investigating officers in the case of attacking the actress has been postponed till tomorrow.

The case was adjourned till 1.45 pm tomorrow. Prosecution arguments will take place tomorrow.

Dileep’s lawyer B Raman Pillai told the court that the case against him was completely fabricated. The case was heard by Justice P Gopinath. Raman Pillai, who appeared for Dileep, argued for two hours today. The High Court asked both the parties to complete the arguments expeditiously. The court ruled that the case could not be extended and that there was talk of prolonging the case unnecessarily.

The conspiracy is said to have taken place within the confines of the Aluva police station. The information had to be provided to the SHO. But Dileep asked the court why the information was passed on to B. Sandhya in this case. The ADGP registered the FIR on the basis of only one letter. The conspiracy case was prepared by a meeting of officials in the case of the attack on the actress. Dileep claimed that the case was fabricated due to the animosity of the investigating officer.

Dileep also asked the court not to believe the 161 statements related to the case. Balachandra Kumar is a person who is very hostile towards Dileep. That is why such an allegation has come to the fore in the final stages of the trial of the case in which the actress was attacked. Defendant also demanded that this statement should never be taken for granted.

Meanwhile, actor Dileep’s phones will be sent to Thiruvananthapuram for investigation in the case of conspiracy to assassinate the investigating officer. The test will be conducted at the forensic lab in Thiruvananthapuram. The Aluva Magistrate’s Court issued the order this morning.

The Aluva Magistrate’s Court granted permission to the Crime Branch’s request that the phones be subjected to a scientific examination. Dileep handed over the pattern locks and password to the court to unlock the phones.

Free Dialysis at Home Scheme in 11 Districts: Minister Veena George

Thiruvananthapuram: Health Minister Veena George has launched a peritoneal dialysis scheme in 11 districts where patients can get free dialysis at home without having to go to hospitals. Peritoneal dialysis is the process of purifying the blood inside the body. The Peritoneal Dialysis Project has been expanded as part of a gradual reduction of hemodialysis, which can only be done in hospitals and is very expensive and physically challenging. Currently, this facility is available in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod districts. Peritoneal dialysis will be started soon in the remaining three districts, she said.

In addition to the medical colleges in the state, 36,000 to 39,000 dialysis sessions are conducted every month from the family health centers under the health department to the district and general hospitals. Dialysis is provided in Taluk, General, and District Hospitals and in some Community Health Centers and Family Health Centers. 937 dialysis machines are set up in 92 hospitals.

If covid disease affected those undergoing dialysis, the government will take stern action against private hospitals that deny dialysis later. All District Medical Officers have been directed to take strict action if any complaints are received in this regard. The minister said Rs 22 lakh has been sanctioned for painting the building and directed to expand the playground for children. The Minister also directed to look into the possibility of setting up a garden and a farm adjacent to the Girls Home.

The minister was addressing the media after a meeting at the Girls’ Home.  The meeting was attended by Raveendran MLA and District Collector Dr.N.Tej Lohit Reddy, District Women and Child Development Officer Abdul Bari, Boys Home Superintendent Ahmed Rashid, and Public Works Department Executive Engineer.
