The controversy was ignited when a video of people praying at Lulumal went viral on social media. There was also controversy when extremist Hindu organizations tried to recite Hanuman Chalisa in the mall after the namaz. The Hindu Mahasabha threatened to recite Sundara Kanda from the Ramayana if the prayer was allowed to continue. After this, the UP Police registered a case against the unknown persons who performed Namaz.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath opened the mall on July 11, which was built with an investment of two thousand crore rupees.

Plus Two students commits suicide in Kallakurichi; 3 people were arrested

Chennai: Three persons have been arrested in the case of suicide of a Plus Two student in Kallakurichi, Tamil Nadu. Three people were arrested after the Crime Branch CID team took over the case. The police arrested two teachers and the principal whose names were on the suicide note.

Last Tuesday, a 12th-class student committed suicide by jumping from the third floor of the Kanimayur Shakti Matriculation School building. She committed suicide by writing a note against the teachers of the school. Many people took to the streets demanding action against the accused teachers and school management.

The protestors demanded that the accused should be arrested and the case should be handed over to the Crime Branch. The autopsy of the body was conducted yesterday, but the family refused to accept it. The family’s position was that they would not accept the dead body without taking action against the culprits.

At the same time, the protest held in Tamil Nadu’s Kallikuri, alleging mystery in the student’s suicide, turned into a riot. About 2,000 protesters vandalized the school and set fire to the vehicles. Police fired into the air to disperse the protesters. Condemning the incident, Chief Minister MK Stalin appealed to the protesters to remain calm.

The protests which have been going on for the past three days by the relatives of the Plus Two student who committed suicide, turned into a riot this morning. Around 200 relatives of the child protested in front of the government hospital regarding the fake post-mortem process of the child.

Later, more people reached the hospital premises and Shakti International School where the child was studying. With this, the protest turned into violence. About 50 vehicles including a school bus and vehicles parked in the compound were vandalized. A police vehicle parked nearby was also set on fire. Protesters blocked the Chinnasalem National Highway.

The relatives alleged that there was a mystery in the suicide and that the mental torture of the teachers led to the suicide. In the post-mortem report which came out in the afternoon, it became clear that the cause of death was a brain injury. Relatives are adamant about the demand for a re-postmortem.

As the riots escalated, more than 800 policemen, led by a DIG and 5 SPs, reached the spot. Police fired twice in the air to disperse the protesters. Chief Minister MK Stalin said that they should take the government into confidence and maintain peace and find the real culprits. Meanwhile, a BJP leader was arrested in a case of student suicide, reports said.
