The makers of the newly released Malayalam movie ‘I, Nobody’ have dropped its latest lyric video titled ‘Circus’. The song holds a very special highlight, as it is sung by Alankrita Menon Prithviraj, the daughter of the film’s lead actor, Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Sharing the track on his social media handles, a proud Prithviraj wrote: “Dearest Alli, Mamma and Daada are so so proud of your dreams and choices…” The groovy track is composed by hitmaker Jakes Bejoy with lyrics penned by Seba Tomy. Notably, this isn’t Alankrita’s first time behind the microphone; she previously lent her voice to a track in the Mohanlal-starrer L2: Empuraan, which was directed by Prithviraj.
Directed by Nizam Basheer (of Rorschach fame), I, Nobody stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy Thiruvothu in the lead roles, reuniting the popular on-screen pair after hits like Ennu Ninte Moideen and Koode. Written by Sameer Abdul, the film is a gripping thriller revolving around Rajeevan (Prithviraj), a government official whose life turns upside down after he accidentally witnesses a bank robbery.
Produced under the banners of Prithviraj Productions and E4 Experiments by Supriya Menon, Mukesh R. Mehta, and C.V. Sarathi, I, Nobody is currently playing in theatres and has been receiving rave reviews from both critics and audiences for its unique filmmaking style.
