Bengaluru: Because of the tension in Dakshina Kannada, the district administration has directed that all shops and business establishments remain closed from 6 pm to 6 am.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. KV Rajendra gave the order in this regard. The government’s directive to comply with this directive is till August 1. The order came after three murders in the district in the last 10 days.

Hospitals and medical shops will function normally. Others operate only from 6 am to 6 pm. The ban on the sale of liquor will continue from July 29 to August 1 at 8 am in Bandwal, Puttur, Belthangadi, Sullya, and Kadaba taluks. Section 144 has been extended from midnight on July 29 to 12 am on August 6 in Bantwal, Puttur, Belthangadi, Sullya, and Kadaba taluks.

Srinagar:  A terrorist was killed in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla. There was an encounter between soldiers and terrorists in the Binnel area on Saturday at midnight.

Irshad Ahmad Bhat, a native of Baramulla Pathan, was killed, army sources said. He is an activist of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Jammu and Kashmir Police said that Irshad was an active operative of Lashkar-e-Taiba since May this year.
A gun and 30 bullets were recovered. The army has made extensive checks in the area.

Chennai: Tamil superstar Ajith bagged six medals in the 47th Tamil Nadu Rifle Shooting Championship.
He won four gold and two bronze medals. Ajith participated in the 10m, 25m and 50m pistol shooting categories in the championship held in Trichy on Wednesday.
Ajith came to Trichy after completing the initial stage in Coimbatore. Thousands of fans came to Trichy Rifle Club to see the star. The actor has been practicing shooting for years. Ajith participated in Tamil Nadu State Shooting Championship in 2021 and won six medals. After completing the bike trip in July, the actor made preparations to participate in the championship.

New Delhi: Tomorrow is the last date for filing income tax returns. The central government has informed that extending the date is not under consideration.

It is not clear whether there will be a last-minute change in this. The date was extended in previous years.
Individuals and monthly salary earners are mainly required to submit returns. If the return is not filed within the time limit, the penalty will be charged. Also, you may have to face other difficulties related to financial transactions.

Revenue Secretary Tarun Bajaj had earlier informed us that everyone is expected to submit their returns before July 31. Last year, 5.89 crore people filed returns.

Many people file returns at the last minute. Last time around ten percent returns were filed on the last day. Tarun Bajaj said that this time the department expects that the return may reach up to 1 crore at the last minute.

New Delhi: Test results show that the monkeypox reported in Kerala does not have the potential to spread.

The test results of two samples from Kerala have been completed. Genome sequence studies identify the A2 virus variant as the cause of monkeypox. The A2 virus variant is less virulent.

So far two monkey pox cases have been reported in Kerala. Those who came from abroad were infected. Meanwhile, a young man from Malappuram was admitted to Kozhikode Medical College yesterday with symptoms of monkeypox. A 30-year-old native of Vettilapara was admitted to the hospital.

The young man who arrived from the Gulf two weeks ago had sought treatment at the dermatology department on Friday. The young man and his companion were shifted to the Epidemic Control Unit after the examination showed suspicion. The doctors said that the young man has no further health problems. The saliva and blood samples of the young man were sent to the Medical College Microbiology Lab and Alappuzha Institute of Virology for testing. After receiving the test results, the doctors said that if the health condition of the young man is satisfactory, he will be transferred to the hospital in Malappuram.
