Kollam: Lawyer’s husband arrested after she was found hanging dead in Kollam’s Chadayamangalam. Kannan Nair, a native of Chadayamangalam and a lawyer, was arrested. The police have found diary notes which show that the young woman has been brutally tortured.

Aishwarya, a lawyer, was found hanging dead inside her house last Wednesday. Later, Aishwarya’s brother filed a complaint with the Chadayamangalam police, alleging that she had died due to her husband’s abuse. Aishwarya’s diaries were found by the police during the investigation. Aishwarya has written in her own handwriting that Kannan Nair was brutally tortured. Constantly beaten. The lawyer’s diary also states that her husband Kannan Nair is responsible for her death. Aishwarya’s mother gave a statement to the police that she had to witness her daughter being beaten because of tea.

The investigation team caught Kannan Nair, who was absconding after the incident, from near his house. The Chadayamangalam police have charged him with the crime of abetment of suicide.

Kochi: The cyber police said that the comment against the Prime Minister on behalf of actor Nazlin Ghafoor came from UAE. Facebook deleted the account following the request of the police. Nazlin complained to the Kakanad cyber cell yesterday.

The comment came from the fake account of Nazlin, who was abusive, under the news that the Prime Minister had released the cheetahs that had arrived in India after seven decades. “This country would have been saved if at least one cheetah jumped out,” was the comment.

When the comment was noticed, a cyber attack was launched against Nazlin. Naslin clarified through Instagram that he did not comment. Nazlin complained with the cyber cell after the cyber attack intensified.

It is sad to hear that many people said that they will not see the films in which he acts from now on. The actor said that he came to know about the incident when his friends shared the screenshots and he did not know the person who commented.

Many didn’t realize it was a fake account. Believing that he did it, various organizations turned against him. He reached his Instagram account and started using obscenities. Nazlin said that he felt sad that he had to be blamed for something he did not do himself. Along with the video, Naslin also shared the receipt of the complaint.

Kochi: Former MLA K Muhammad Ali passed away. He was a member of the Legislative Assembly from the Aluva constituency six times. He was 76 years old.

Kozhikode: Huge gold rush at Karipur airport. Three people including a woman were detained by customs. Customs seized more than 3 kg of gold worth over Rs 1 crore.

Customs seized the gold from Jamsheed, a native of Malappuram, Bushra, a native of Wayanad, and Abdul Shamil, a native of Kozhikode, who came from Sharjah. 1054 grams of gold was seized from Jamsheed while trying to smuggle gold mixture by hiding it in secret parts of the body. 1077 grams of gold was found in Bushra. They tried to smuggle gold by hiding it inside their clothes. Abdul Sham was also trying to smuggle gold by hiding it in secret places. 679 grams of the gold mixture was seized from him.
