Theartes havent been speaking Malayalam for some weeks now. Many have even gone into deep slumber on effect of film strike. When sun rose on Friday 25th November, theatres have removed their coats and slowly got up from bed to welcome the arrival of new hope.
Issue
Swapna Sanchari starts with a natural disaster happening in Gundalpettu which reminds us of the highly inflammable Mullapperyar dam issue which is the hot topic today. It is to be admitted that, from politics to films, Kerala stands behind Tamil nadu. Our state relies heavily on TN even for food. Its high time this arduous reliance be forfended and we ourself have to start cultivation of vegetables and fruits in our compounds and nighbourhood. That is the least we can do for Kerala, to have a voice. The life of 30 lakh people is not in our hands, we severly lack a powerful leader. All politicians in TN has to understand, we all are humans.

Cast
Jayaram has always been a ladies man among film stars, in the sense he naturally attracts women audience to his movies. The star has earlier proved, he could throw his charisma with a lot of comedy and cook a perfect dish for them. But he stayed with the same stuff for a long while, until people felt he is too repetitive.
In Swapna Sanchari, Jayaram as Ajaya chandran did a fine job along with Samvrutha Sunil ,Innocent,Salim Kumar,Harisree Asokan, Jagathi and may others . Ajayachandran grabs our attention right there as we are beguiled by the thwarting of this man who fall prey to all the games he play.
Direction
From the first frame we can experience the quality which reminds that, this is a Kamal movie more than a Jayaram flick.
In the movie you can see a little bit of Varavelppu, Pranchiyettan, Mazhayethum Mumpe and all, but all together this is a good flick. Despite the fact that the story lacks something new, Kamal made it refreshing.
Music by M. Jayachandran syncs with the film.
Writing
K. Gireesh Kumar need praise as he again wrote a nice movie which connects with the audience. Audience can feel the protagonist as one among themselves; which is a great achievement as writer. Many natural dialogues have been used, without question women audience will be pleased to extol this film.
Ardent viewers can draw many parallel to Veruthe Oru Bharya. The first half is thoroughly entertaining and the film has authenticity. Swapna Sanchari has taken a satirist approaach on society on matters from politics to spirituality. The climax portion has nothing new and is predictable, but the film has worked rather exquisitely.
Cinematography by Alagappan is beautiful.
Box Office – If Venicile Vyapari and Arabiyum Ottakavum get rescheduled till December, this film is going to be a hit for the industry.
Swapna Sanchari is one of those feel good mainstream film which pleases spectators. It’s a lively movie that is purposeful. Though the recent release, Indian Rupee also told the plays of money, Swapna Sanchari will be hard hitting. Not everyday we can see a film which moves cleverly to audience need, while being enormously entertaining.
Verdict – Definetly a must watch for ladies.
