Its a moment of pride for Malayalis as the movie “Adaminde Makan Abu” is been nominated for Oscar. In this situation, the famous director Vinayan is coming forward with a request to help the movie reach Oscar. According to the calculation 2 crore is the approximate budget to reach there. Salim Muhammed, the director of the movie have delcared his helplessness to reach upto the heights. Here comes Vinayan who is much excited about the news of nomination. He had also suggested that associations like “Amma” can come forward with a helping hand. Its an unavoidable fact that the movie , overtook the position by leading many other high budget movies in the “queue”.Why
does this always happen when fate is giving a chance for the malayalam

Kunchako Boban’s new work, “Sandwich” is on its way to industry. The movie has completed its shooting and its being released under the banner of “Line Of Colours”. Directed by M.S Manu the movie is being produced by M.C.Arun and Sandeep Karakkad. Opposite to Kunchako is Richa and Ananya. Suraj Venjarumood is handling an important role along with Lalu Alex,Ganesh Kumar,Vijayakumar,Biju Pappan,Indrans,P.Sasikumar,Kishore,Poojapura Ravi,Kottayam Nazeer,Shari,Suby,Sonia,Mini Arun and many others.The movie is scripted by Ratheesh Sukumar and M.B.Sreekumar is composing Murukan Kattakada’s lyrics. Pradeep Nair is dealing cinematography and Don Max with editing. Lets hope this project brings a change in the industry.

Sarkar Colony is a comedy film with out any comedy, which veritably missed the basics of story telling. In the beginning, the flick resembled serial, but it went worse.
Plot
Sarkar Colony tells the story of government servants who are said to be struggling with scrimpy salary. Some of them address this issue with some quick money schemes which eventually back fires.
Sivaramakrishnan (Mukesh) is working in PWD department while his wife Padmini works in the same department as Engineer. He doesn’t like to take any responsibility and falls into the trap of MLM. To get over it, he and his friends starts a day care, where Kunju Baby (Suraj) arrives.
Acting
On acting front, nothing much can be told about a movie in which Mukesh leads. Everyone bluffs dialogue one after the other.
Jaffer Idukki as ‘Jamyam Jaffer’ does the character of a drunkard. Jagatheesh acts as C.I, while Jagathi is ‘Puthenpurakkal Padmanabha Pillai’ alias Pu. Pu. Pa. Pi, the MLM guru. Ashokan enacts Mukundan. Mukesh and Devayani are the leading actors while the film is filled with supporting casts like Kochupreman, Sajan Palluruthi and so forth. Devayani plays Padmini and Sona Nair plays Mukundan’s wife.
Saloo George is the head of camera department. V.C Ashok has written this flick.
The film which was shot in Thiruvananthapuram was completed in a single schedule of twenty three days, at the expense of quality.
Director V. S Jayakrishnan had formerly directed ‘Kancheepurathe Kalyanam’ along with debutant Fazil. Sarkar Colony is his first film as an independent director.
A good film can be made even in low budget if it has a well written script, but this film seems to be poor in that front too.
