Kabul: The terrorist group IS has claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing of a Shia mosque in Kunduz, Afghanistan. Attack was carried out on Friday. More than 100 people were killed in the attack. The dead included children.
No one initially claimed responsibility for the attack.
More than a dozen people were killed in an attack on another church the previous day. Many of the injured have been hospitalized and the death toll could rise further, the report said. The Taliban also confirmed the attack. But it has not been confirmed how many were killed.
