Palakkad: MDMA worth 10 lakh rupees was seized while trying to smuggle it from Bengaluru to Kerala. Excise seized the intoxicating substance which was trying to be smuggled to Thrissur via Walayar. Two people were arrested in the incident. Umar Harris and Krishna Prasad, natives of Chavakkad, were arrested.
130 grams of MDMA were found in their possession. According to Excise, Umar is the leader of a group that sells drugs, including to school students. Apart from this, they also distribute MDMA in resorts. The Excise team stated that other criminal cases are pending against the two arrested persons.
