Thiruvananthapuram: A Popular Front activist was caught while trying to cross abroad and handed over to the NIA. Sulfi Ibrahim, a native of Tolikode, was arrested.
Sulfi was detained at the Thiruvananthapuram airport to go to Kuwait and then handed over to the NIA. The NIA officer took him to Kochi for questioning.
Zulfi arrived at Thiruvananthapuram airport on Sunday morning. A look out notice was issued against him who went absconding after the ban of Popular Front. Zulfi arrived at the airport and was stopped by the immigration officials and handed over to the NIA.
