New Delhi: A case of green fungus has been reported again in the country. The green fungus was reported in Jalandhar, Punjab, after Rajasthan. The 62-year-old was diagnosed with green fungus. He was recovered from Covid recently. He is currently being monitored at the hospital. An epidemiologist at the Civil Hospital in Jalandhar, Paramvir Singh told the media that the green fungus was confirmed.
The green fungus was reported in Rajasthan last week. A thirty-four-year-old man was diagnosed with the disease. He had been undergoing treatment for Covid for the past two months and had a fever and a large amount of blood coming from his nose. Although it was initially thought to be infected with the black fungus, further testing confirmed the green fungus.
