Mumbai; The rape case against Binoy Kodiyeri, son of CPM leader Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, has been settled.
The case was settled by paying Rs 80 lakh to the complainant, a native of Bihar. The Bombay High Court accepted the settlement terms entered into by the duo.
It has been stated in the settlement agreement that the case will be settled for Rs 80 lakh. The document of payment to the woman has also been submitted. Binoy did not deny paternity of the child in the settlement agreement. A division bench comprising Justices RP Mohit Dere and SM Modak accepted the settlement terms of both.
