Ahmedabad: A speeding I20 car rammed into a group of people sleeping on a footpath in Ahmedabad. One person was killed and four others were injured in the crash.
According to the information received, there were four people in the car. All of them has escaped from the site after the incident, police said. Police began searching for the car driver and others.
Witnesses say the I20 was speeding at the crash site. Witnesses said the car lost control due to high speeds and crashed into the sidewalk.
The speed of the car and the video of him riding on the footpath were recorded on CCTV. A case has been registered and an investigation has been launched, police said.
