People not to take painkillers before taking the covid vaccine: WHO

who

Geneva: The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned people not to take painkillers before taking the covid vaccine. The WHO has stated that taking paracetamol or other painkillers before taking the vaccine may reduce the effectiveness of the vaccine.

However, a WHO spokesman said that painkillers such as paracetamol could be used to reduce the side effects of the vaccine. The WHO says that taking the painkiller before taking the vaccine may reduce the antibody response.

People who have been vaccinated may experience symptoms such as pain, fatigue, fever, and body aches. The WHO said the symptoms would not last longer than two days. But those who regularly take antihistamines for allergy problems need to seek the advice of a treating physician before taking the vaccine, said Professor Luke O’Neill of Trinity College Dublin.
