Thiruvananthapuram: 9 trains will resume service in the state. The service will resume from June 16. 9 trains will start service on June 16,17. Mangalore – Coimbatore – Mangalore, Mangalore – Chennai – Mangalore West Coast, Mangalore – Chennai – Mangalore Superfast, Chennai – Thiruvananthapuram – Chennai Superfast, Chennai – Thiruvananthapuram – Chennai Weekly Superfast, Chennai – Alappuzha – Chennai Superfast, Mysore – – Mysore Express, Bangalore – Ernakulam – Bangalore Superfast and Ernakulam – Karaikal – Ernakulam Express will be resumed. Railways had suspended train services in the state due to low passenger numbers. The decision to resume services came in the wake of the easing of lockdown restrictions.
