Diwali; the Festival of Lights

Diwali is a festival of lights, celebrated by all people beyond cast and religion. Diwali Festival is a celebration of the victory of goodness over evil. The word ‘Diwali’ literally means a lamp of lights. The people lavish in the lights of the lanterns, offering crackers and sweets. Diwali is celebrated in five days, such as the Brahmacharya, Chaturdasi, Lakshmi Puja, Bali, and Bhatia. This festival is celebrated on the second day of Kumbh Mela.
