New Delhi: Union health minister Harsha Vardhan has said in the Lok Sabha that the source of the Nipah virus has been discovered. In response to Adoor Prakash and Hibi Eden, the Health Minister said the presence of the Nipah virus was detected in bats. “We have received confirmation from the Pune lab,” Harshavardhan said.
The study was carried out by experts from the National Institute of Virology, Pune and the Virology Institute, Alappuzha.
After the Nipah confirmed the student in Ernakulam, the central virology department had checked in Thodupuzha to look for a source. The bats in the area were searched. The central virologist examined the student’s residence and the college’s premises. Samples were collected in bats habitat.
In the second phase, only one person in Kerala was confirmed as affected Nipah. It was a big relief to Kerala.
New Delhi: Triple talaq prohibition bill has repeatedly introduced in the parliament. Opposition respondents said the bill was unconstitutional. Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, who introduced the bill, said the law was being introduced to empower and protect Muslim women.
At the same time, Congress criticized the government’s move to be suspicious and not to uplift Muslim women. Shashi Tharoor MP said the bill was likely to be misused.
Under the Hindu Marriage Act, a man who leaves his wife is sentenced to one year in prison. Congress asked why the Muslim man should be harshly punished. Congress argued that the bill would not benefit Muslims in any particular way. Shashi Tharoor alleged that the provisions of the Bill should be revised and the current provisions are meant only to provoke a religious group.
Heavy rainfall is likely to hit in the state. Heavy rain is expected in the northern districts for the next two days, the Meteorological Department said. As a precaution, the Meteorological Department has announced an orange alert in Kasargod, Kannur and Kozhikode districts on June 22.
Kannur: The Taliparamba area committee has recommended taking action against the chairman of the Anthoor municipality in the death of NRK entrepreneur Sajan in Kannur. Chandigarh: At least 42 killed as bus falls into a deep gorge in Himachal Pradesh. About 30 people were injured. According to the reports, at least 50 people were traveled on the bus. The bus accident occurred in the Banjar region of Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. The bus fell into a 500-feet deep gorge. Reports suggest the death toll is likely to rise.
The bus which was traveling from Gadagushani to Banjar in Kullu met with the accident. The rescue operation is in progress. The injured were rushed to a civil hospital in Kullu.
Thiruvananthapuram: Crime branch says Balabaskar’s death was an accident. According to the Motor Vehicle Department, Arjun was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident and lost control of the vehicle.
The impact of the accident was compounded by excessive speed and the slope to the right of the road. The crime branch will submit its report to the court soon after completing its investigation. The accident team had inspected the accident site yesterday.

Kolkatta: Two people, including a 17-year-old boy was killed in a massive clash at Bhatpara in West Bengal. Four people were injured. One of the victims was 17-year-old Rambabu Shah.
The attack was carried out by a group of unidentified groups in Bhatpara, a city near Kolkatta. It is reported that gunshots were heard from the scene. Police used tear gas to disperse the assailants. The attack took place just before the DGP inaugurated the new police station building at Bhatpara. The BJP has alleged that the TMC is behind the attack.
In the wake of the violence, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has called for an emergency meeting to discuss the issue and take action.
Lucknow: At least seven children were killed when a vehicle carrying 29 passengers overturned into a canal. The incident happened at around 3 am this morning. All the passengers were returning home after attending a wedding ceremony.
Although 22 were rescued by locals.
The remaining 7 children were not found. NDRF and drowning experts have been deployed for rescue operations. Senior police officer SK Bhagat said rescue operations were difficult as the canal had a heavy flow.
He added that the flow of water was being regulated and measures had been taken to ensure that the bodies of the children did not flow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath observed the incident and directed the rescue teams to reach the scene.

•MUSIC & TECHNICAL ASPECTS: The musical work of the film is composed by Bijipal including the background score. The movie consists of two songs and more than the songs the music director’s focused work on making the quality background tunes stood upstanding.
The title song ‘Maya Mazhavillai’ sung by Adheef Muhammed written by Rafeeq Ahamed was good to hear with its animated visuals. The song ‘Venallum Varshavum’ was in the second half which was pretty good.
The Background Score tuned by Bijipal was excellent because what the film demands through BGM tunes was authentically given by Bijipal. The BGM at the emotional scenes were really sentimental and also the background score had worked well at showing the passionate way of the central character.
The cinematography performed by Madhu Ambat had given quality visuals especially the locations of America and Canada. The various frames of both the counties were beautiful, portraying the natural scenery which was delightful to watch. The shots of mountains in Kannur and sunset peak were beautiful and the visuals in the night in America were also outstanding.
The editing of Vijai Sankar was accurate with perfect cuts which do not give mismatches in the viewing experience. The Sound Design was done by Resul Pookutty and his mixing had given an awesome experience, the effects in sound were superior for every scene. The Costume Designer Mashar Hamsa had also done an imposing job on bringing out the appropriate costumes for every actor which deserves a thumbs-up.
•OVERALL: To conclude the film ‘And The Oscar Goes To’ had given me an unforgettable experience because of its wonderful heart touching story and extraordinary direction.
