Kabul: At least 63 people have been killed in a suicide bomb attack on a wedding hall in western Kabul, Afghanistan. In the suicide bombing, more than 180 people were injured. Locals say they heard the sound of the blast within a kilometer.
The blast took place at Dubai City Hall. More than 1,000 people in the attack premises. No one has claimed responsibility for the blast.
Austrian automaker KTM ready to test electric vehicles KTM’s first electric scooter to be launched in India in 2022. KTM’s global speed scooter, the e-Speed electric scooter, will also be launched in India.
It is reported that KTM’s electric scooter will be launched in collaboration with Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj. Bajaj is reportedly holding a 48 percent stake in KTM.
The manufacturer has not disclosed details about the scooter strength, price or other features. Bajaj chief Rakesh Sharma said this in an interview.
Bajaj’s KTM India partner Bajaj’s electric scooters are coming up with a brand called Urbanite. Urbanite’s first electric scooter is expected to hit the market next year.
The company has officially announced that the Xiaomi Mi A3 Android One will be available in the Indian market on August 21. The AA3 Indian version is comprised of a 48MP primary camera, three rear camera setup, and Android One software.
The Mi 3 has a 6.088-inch OLED display, offering a 1520X720 pixel screen resolution. The Mi A3 runs on a Snapdragon 665 processor. This is the first smartphone to come with this Qualcomm processor. Globally, the Mi A3 comes in two variants – 4GB of RAM + 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM + 128GB of storage. The MA3 comes with a 4030mAh battery.
Camera Ground Mi A3 back panel features three cameras. The phone’s primary camera is a 48MP sensor, aperture size f / 1.79, secondary 8MP wide-angle camera sensor, and the third is a 2MP depth sensor. The Mi A3 comes with a 32MP sensor for selfies.
Srinagar: An Indian soldier shot dead by Pakistani troops in the LoC for breaching the ceasefire agreement. The incident took place at Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir. 35-year-old Lance Naik Sandeep Thapa is dead, a native of Dehradun.
At around 6 this morning, Pakistani troops launched a series of attacks in the Naushera area. Army spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Devendra Anand said the Indian army was also retaliated strongly.
New Delhi: Senior BJP leader and former finance minister Arun Jaitley’s health is in critical condition. His health has improved over the past few days, but the situation has worsened again yesterday. Doctors from the cardio neuro specialist are monitoring Jaitley’s health, hospital sources said. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Health Minister Dr. Harsha Vardhan, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Jammu, and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik and BSP leader Mayawati visited Jaitley in AIIMS.He was admitted to the hospital on the 9th of this month due to poor health. Jaitley has been undergoing treatment for kidney failure for over two years. Arun Jaitley did not contest the last Lok Sabha election due to ill health.
Thiruvananthapuram: With the finding five more bodies in Kavalappara in Malappuram district, 111 people have died due to the rains. There are 21 more to be found. Of the seven, seven are from Puthumala in Wayanad.

New Delhi: India canceled the Thar Express from Jodhpur in Rajasthan to Karachi in Pakistan. The Thar Express has been canceled due to poor democratic relations between Pakistan India in the Kashmir issue. North Western Railways said the train will not leave today (Friday).
Authorities have said that Thar Express to and from Pakistan will be canceled until further orders. “Only 45 people have booked tickets to Pakistan,” said Abhay Sharma, chief public relations officer, North West Railways.
Pakistan had already canceled its train service to Jodhpur. Pakistani Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad announced in Islamabad on August 9 that Pakistan’s train service to India will no longer be held up after Pakistan’s diplomatic ties with India.
Diplomatic relations with Pakistan have been canceled following India’s repeal of Article 370 of the Constitution that gives Kashmir a special status. Bilateral trade has also been halted.
