A yellow alert was issued to Thiruvananthapuram, Pathanamthitta and Idukki districts on Thursday. Heavy rains are likely in all three districts and authorities should exercise caution, the Met Office said.
There will be wind and rain in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Wayanad and Malappuram districts.
