In Thiruvananthapuram, petrol costs Rs. 104 and 88 paise per liter, while diesel costs Rs. 96 and 31 paise. Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has been taken into police custody

Mamata Banerjee gain record victory in Bhavanipur
Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has won the Bhavanipur constituency in the Assembly by-elections. She won the constituency known as his home by a record majority. The majority was 58,389 votes. This is the highest majority in Bhavanipur constituency.
The BJP is trailing in all the four constituencies where by-elections were held. Mamata Banerjee is contesting from three constituencies in West Bengal and one in Odisha.
