Approval for vaccinating children; DCGI says children over the age of two can be vaccinated

New Delhi: Vaccination is allowed in the country for children above the age of two years. The DCGI (Drug Control General of India) has approved the administration of Covaxin to children. Covaxin is the second vaccine approved for use in children in the country.

Earlier, the Zydus Cadillac vaccine was approved for use in children over 12 years of age. The covaxin test was performed on children divided into three groups. The first category is those aged 12 to 18 years. Children between the ages of six and 12 were included in the second category.

At the same time, the experiment included children between the ages of 2 and 6 in the third group. The DCGI stated that the test injection results were excellent.

However, experts point out that the immunity and safety of children who have been vaccinated on a trial basis are similar to those of adults.

It is suspected that the landslide occurred in the Aralam forest area. As heavy rains continue in Kodagu forest, caution has been issued to the riverine residents in the border areas of Kannur. Rainfall in Wayanad Mananthavady and Vaithiri taluks. Kasargod: Despite low rainfall, vigilance has been issued. Thiruvananthapuram: Actor Nedumudi Venu (73), who gifted the Malayalee with brilliant moments of rhythmic acting on stage and Abhrapali, has passed away. He died at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram around 1:30 p.m., Monday. Wife: Susheela. Children: Unni and Kannan.

He was born on May 22, 1948 in Nedumudi, Alappuzha to PK Kesava Pillai and P Kunjikuttyamma. He was educated at Kottaram NSUP School, Chambakkulam St. Mary’s High School, and Alappuzha SD College. While studying for his undergraduate degree at SD College, Alappuzha, he became active in the field of drama through plays written by his classmate Fazil.

The acquaintance with the playwright Kavalam Narayana Panicker was a turning point.
He then brought the main characters to life in many socially acclaimed plays such as Divathar and Avanavan Kadamba. In the meantime, he became a parallel college teacher and journalist. Kollam: Sooraj, the accused in the Uthra murder case is the culprit, the court said. The court found the accused Sooraj guilty in the Uthra murder case. The verdict was delivered by Kollam Sixth Additional Sessions Court Judge M Manoj. Uthra’s father and brother had come to the court to hear the verdict.

Vijayasenan’s daughter Uthra (25) was bitten by a snake on the night of May 6, 2020, in Anchal Eram ‘Vishu’ (Vellassery). She was found dead at 7 p.m. Uthra’s parents have complained to the police.

 The case was handed over to the District Crime Branch. The investigation was based on the collection of scientific evidence in a case where there were no witnesses. Uthra’s post-mortem report, the post-mortem report of the bitten snake, chemical test results, forensic examination of mobile phones, and dummy test were conducted.

The trial in the case, which was filed on August 14 last year, was also expedited. The prosecution alleges that Uthra was killed by her husband Sooraj after being bitten by a snake. 87 witnesses were examined. The prosecution produced 288 documents and 40 bribes in court. The scientific evidence found through the dummy experiment is also crucial.

The charges include conspiracy to commit murder (302), attempted murder (307), aggravated assault (326), and the Wildlife Act (115). Sooraj bought the snake from Kalluvatukkal Chavarukavu Suresh, an apologist in the case and a snake catcher. Uthra murder case paves a new chapter in forensic science.

The Chinese military said that India was making irrational and unrealistic demands, which made the talks difficult, and that the talks had failed. The talks between India and China lasted for about eight and a half hours. During the talks, India had earlier called for the deployment of Chinese troops in the remaining conflict areas in eastern Ladakh. The talks started at 10:30 am and ended at 7 pm.
