Death of models kerala 1

Kochi:  Suspicion mounts over former Miss Kerala death case. Roy Vayalatt, owner of the No. 18 hotel in Fort Kochi, said police that, hid the CCTV footage for fear of losing the hotel’s license.  Roy said police chased the car to warn him not to drive under the influence of alcohol.  Before the accident, the hotel owner handed over to the police the DVR containing the CCTV footage of the hotel where the DJ party was held.  But not all DVRs have been handed over.  Footage of the party hall and the hotel parking lot is not available.  Police have asked Roy Valyatt, owner of Hotel No. 18, to produce all DVRs.

Roy was not present, although police had issued several notices after the accident raised suspicion.  He arrived at the police station after being warned by the police that he would be arrested.  The DGP had sought an explanation from the commissioner for delaying the action.  Roy was issued a notice to appear today following a warning from the DGP.  There were rumors that Roy had arrived at the scene of the accident where the models died.  Police are investigating the incident.

Miss Kerala Ansi Kabir and runner – up Anjana Shajan were killed in a road accident while returning from a DJ party at a hotel owned by Roy.  Hotel owner Roy was in the hall where the DJ party took place.  According to the police, the hotel owner had a clear idea of the incident which caused the girls to leave the hotel at night on the day of the incident.  Police said race was the cause of the accident.  The police concluded that the race was based on the statement of Shaiju, who was driving an Audi car following the models’ car.  However, Shaiju told police that he went after them to warn them not to go too fast.

On the morning of November 1, an uncontrolled car hit a tree in the median on the National Highway near Chakkaraparambu, Palarivattom.  The group was on their way to Edappally from Vyttila.  The accident happened when the car swerved to the left to avoid hitting the bike.  Ansi Kabir, a native of Attingal, Miss Kerala 2019, and Dr. Anjana Shajan, a runner – up, and native of Mala, died on the spot.  KA Mohammad Aashiq, who was undergoing treatment for serious injuries, later died.  There is a contradiction in the statements of the driver of the car and two others.  According to the police, they will be questioned again.

Norovirus infection confirmed in Wayanad

Norovirus

Wayanad: Norovirus was confirmed in Wayanad as a threat to the health sector in Kerala. The students of Pookot Veterinary College were diagnosed with the disease.

The virus was detected in samples tested at the National Institute of Virology in Alappuzha. The National Health Mission said extreme caution should be exercised in the event of a confirmed case of the disease.

The National Health Mission says that people of all ages are susceptible to the virus and that symptoms appear within two days of being infected. Symptoms of norovirus infection include diarrhea, abdominal pain, vomiting, nausea, fever, headache, and body aches. Acute vomiting and diarrhea can lead to dehydration and worsening of the disease.

The Health Mission said that precautions should be taken in case of transmission of the disease through contaminated water, food, and direct contact with infected persons. The virus stays on the surface through the secretions from the infected person and spreads to those who come in contact with them. In that case, the virus spreads through the body by touching the nose and mouth without washing your hands. Norovirus is most prevalent from November to April.

100 new buses for KSRTC from next month: Minister

0

Thiruvananthapuram: Transport Minister Antony Raju told the assembly that 100 new buses purchased by KSRTC will be available in December. About 100 buses will be available in December, including eight Volva AC sleeper buses and 20 AC buses. 310 CNG buses and 50 electric buses will be procured as part of the promotion of eco-friendly fuel. The Minister said that steps are being taken to convert the existing diesel engines to CNG.

The minister said that KSRTC bus routes are being sanctioned not only based on profit. As a public sector undertaking, KSRTC determines bus routes taking into account its social commitment. But routes that consistently cause huge losses cannot be continued. Services that have been assessed separately for each route and continue to suffer huge losses can no longer continue. However, the minister said the service should continue in the name of social commitment, including in tribal areas.

The government has a sympathetic attitude towards employees and pensioners. The government is trying to help the M panel employees as per the High Court verdict. KSRTC intends to give preference to more profitable CNG buses. The contract is being canceled as the rental of electric buses was at a loss, the minister said.
