Thiruvananthapuram:The arrest of Grishma, accused in the Parassala Sharon Raj murder case, will be recorded today. The authorities informed that the collection of evidence and further action will be decided later. The crime branch has assessed that Greeshma’s health condition is not in danger. Greeshma tried to commit suicide by drinking Lysol in the washroom of the police station. The SP said that the policemen who were in charge of security at the station had failed in the incident of Greeshma drinking disinfectant and action would be taken against the policemen who failed.

The defendant herself said that she drank the solution. She was able to get to the hospital because she knew right away. The SP added that the stomach was washed immediately and now the health condition is satisfactory. Precautions have been taken to avoid any infection. The rural SP said that the magistrate will be brought to the hospital and the arrest will be registered here.

Kannur:  Excise team with MDMA drug hunt in Kannur Mambaram. 156.74 grams of MDMA was seized in the car. PP Ismail, a native of Pathiriad, was arrested in connection with the incident. Drugs worth Rs 14 lakh were seized. The accused was caught by the Pinarayi Excise Range team.

Two youths in Thrissur with deadly drugs were at large two days ago. Two people were caught with five and a half grams of MDMA. Joel, a native of Edavalang, and Swalih, a native of Methala, were arrested. Police arrest the accused from Kaipamangalam at night.
