New Delhi: In a move that will impact household budgets and dining-out costs across the country, Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have announced a significant hike in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinder prices. Effective Saturday, March 7, the price of a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 60, while the 19 kg commercial cylinder sees a steeper hike of Rs 115.
This marks the first increase in domestic cooking gas prices in exactly a year, with the last revision occurring in early 2025.
