Kochi:  Junior SI Jimmy of Hill Palace Police Station has been suspended in the incident of the death of a person in custody at Tripunithura Police Station. Kochi City Police Commissioner has suspended the SI pending investigation.

Manohar, a native of Tripunithura, collapsed and died while in custody. Locals alleged that Manohar was beaten up by the police. The incident happened on Saturday night.
