Hansika Krishna, the youngest daughter of actor-politician Krishna Kumar, has officially graduated from college, securing a top-tier ‘A+’ grade. Celebrating this milestone, the popular social media influencer shared a series of pictures from her graduation ceremony alongside a reflective note detailing her roller-coaster three-year college journey.

Taking to her Instagram account, Hansika was candid about both the beautiful milestones and the emotional setbacks she faced during her academic years.

“Officially a graduate, and that too with an A+ grade! Looking back at my 3 years of college life, so many memories flash by. Some friendships fell apart, and I had to face unexpected betrayals. It made me cry a lot. But navigating through all that only made me stronger. I am also extremely grateful for the genuine friends I made along the way,” Hansika stated in her post.

She also expressed her gratitude to her professors for their guidance and thanked her family for being her constant pillar of support. Renowned Kollywood actors Simran and Silambarasan (Simbu) on Monday met the newly sworn-in Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay at the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) party headquarters in Chennai. The actors called on the actor-turned-politician to extend their heartfelt congratulations and shared pictures from their warm reunion on social media.

Actress Simran visited the Chief Minister along with her husband and two sons. Reflecting on the memorable meeting with her former co-star, Simran wrote, “Years after sharing screen space together, it was a pleasure to meet Hon’ble Chief Minister Thiru Vijay with my family. The warmth, humility, and sincerity that endeared him to so many people remain exactly the same! His passion and vision for the progress of our state are inspiring. Rajendar, notably during the release struggles of Simbu’s film Vaalu.

Ever since Vijay took the oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on May 10, a steady stream of film personalities and dignitaries have been visiting the TVK headquarters to congratulate him. Breaking the decades-long duopoly of the traditional DMK and AIADMK Dravidian parties, Vijay’s political outfit TVK registered a historic victory by securing 108 seats in the state Assembly elections.

Popular Malayalam actress and vlogger Dimple Rose has moved her followers to tears with an emotional social media post detailing her pregnancy journey and the tragic loss of one of her twin babies. Sharing a throwback picture of her baby bump, Dimple opened up about the bittersweet emotions she experiences as she prepares for her surviving son’s upcoming birthday.

Dimple, who delivered prematurely at 26 weeks, lost one of her twin boys shortly after birth. Remembering that vulnerable phase, she wrote about a world of isolation, a body under pressure, and a heart full of desperate prayers.

Chennai: The Chengalpattu Family Court on Monday adjourned the high-profile divorce case involving Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and TVK president C. Joseph Vijay and his wife Sangeetha to August 7.

The matter came up for hearing on June 15, but neither party appeared in person. Instead, they were represented by their respective legal counsels. Given their public profiles and security concerns, a request had previously been made to allow them to participate in the court proceedings via video conferencing. However, the court dismissed the plea for video conferencing and directed both parties to provide their official email IDs for further communication.

Sangeetha had filed the divorce petition in December 2025, seeking a legal separation from CM Vijay after 26 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. In her petition, she also requested alimony and the right to continue living in their Neelankarai residence. Speculation regarding their split intensified after Sangeetha and their children were notably absent from Vijay’s political party launch events and his swearing-in ceremony as Chief Minister.

Reports suggest that Vijay’s mother, Shoba Chandrasekhar, has been actively trying to mediate between the couple to reach an amicable settlement. While active discussions to resolve the issues outside of court are reportedly ongoing, neither side has issued an official statement regarding a reconciliation. The case will now be heard on August 7.
