Kochi: Sanumohan, who fled after the mysterious death of his daughter, has been arrested in Karnataka. It is learned that Sanumohan was arrested by a police team near Kollur in Karnataka.
The Karnataka-based police have intensified their probe after it was confirmed that Sanu Mohan Kollur had stayed in Mookambika for six days. Will reach Kochi at night or tomorrow morning. Sanumohan and his daughter Vaiga went missing on March 21 under mysterious circumstances.
Vaiga’s body was found in the Muttar river the next afternoon. Meanwhile, the inability to find the car in which Sanu was traveling added to the mystery. It was then confirmed that Sanu Mohan had passed away. Sanumohan was later found to be involved in several financial crimes in Maharashtra. With this, the probe was extended to Maharashtra. Police had also issued a lookout notice for him.
